Growing up in West Michigan, I got used to Lake Michigan sunsets, forests, chirping birds, beautiful harbors, light houses, sand dunes, hundreds of small & large inland lakes, river, & streams, sledding hills, and beautiful winter snowfalls.
When I visit my brother in Las Vegas, I appreciate the beauty there also, but it lends an interesting perspective to Michigan, which is truly a water-winter wonderland.
