MVIII Smooth Move of the Day

She thinks that Mecury Villager is a Mercury Marauder.
And apparently has the right foot to go with it. :D I was surprised how quickly she caught up to us at the 193 reststop in Ohio. Have you looked under the hood of the Villager lately to see if some of the grocery money is going to performance mods.

Yep, and that was after stopping twice on the side of the road to fix kiddie seatbelts.

Was this on the way home? Did we have a minivan chasing us that some of us weren't even aware of? Was this minivan red with stuff on the roof rack, and VA plates? If that's the one, then it is a good thing that we didn't have video going as Cruztaker and I almost sandwiched her as she parallel parked between us at 80 miles an hour. There was one car length between Barry and I and out of nowhere a minivan pulls between us. I hit the brakes to keep from hitting her. Don't know why she pulled in. She pulled back out and took off. This was in western Ohio. Barry said he thought that he had seen that minivan before, just not sure where.

Nope, not me. I have a midnight blue Mercury Villager van, no retarded roof rack, and I know well how to drive it po-fessionally.

Lisa,
Just trying to yank your chain, notice that I mentioned a VA. plate.:D How come Defyant didn't bring you and the kids in his car. He would've had someone to grab the wheel while he took his videos.:drive:

No, that was the minivan with the "Thule" roof pod. I was in the number 7 position when she tried to jam between you and Cruztaker. We all got on the brakes pretty quick when that happened. Later on some woman with a silver Jeep Liberty tried the same thing. Guess she doesn't know that at 80 mph those things will roll like a billiard cue if it flips.

We went round and round over this. We decided it would be best to bring both cars so Lisa and the kids were not commited to 5 complete days of MVIII. Our kids get bored real quick at the local car shows and didnt think it would be right to show up and leave right away.

We considered renting a car once we got into town. But the cost would have been comparable to just driving our van up, so thats what we did. It also gave the younglings much more room for the 10 hr drive.
