My car..is...on....Ebay... :(

Keep the car and anything else that you own. Force her to try to take what she wants or to agree to keep what she owns, no settlement on anything but real estate. Sell the house, pay off ALL the debt, split whats left. Of course I am sure I have no idea what you situation is, good luck.

:( If I was have that amount of money you have for sure I will do a trip there and buy it but unfortunally not. Which one of the three Marauderers with the three black Panthers are you Mang.

STRYKER. :burnout:

Of the three black ones he is the one in the middle

You are offering a very good deal. I hope someone takes it off your hands soon. Sorry about the D-word, hope you come away in good standing.

That's correct. I'm the guy putting the sunglasses on my head.

Also.....

The price in my Ebay auction has been reduced. Check it out.

OMG, you are making this very hard for me. Your car is very nice. I wish I could make up my mind. I noticed you started your bid now $15995. Is this your reserve also?

Thanks,

TheDude

There is no reserve on this auction.

If you bid $15,995 and nobody else outbids you, then you are the winner. Of course, if you place a bid, then that is considered a possible winning bid and the Buy it Now option will go away (that's just how Ebay works).

Call me if you want to talk about it. I'm happy to answer any questions you have.

If you're thinking about it, do it. I have zero vested interest in this transaction, but I can say with conviction that Todd is THE most stand-up guy you will ever meet. He will NOT do you wrong, will go out of his way to answer your questions, and to help you.

Oh, I have no doubt. Of all the Marauders for sale, his is the only one I am strongly considering. Believe me, I am tempted to jump on it. He and the car are not why I'm hesitant. I really only can afford up to 15,500 and that would have to cover shipping. I'm trying to swing this without selling my new truck. OTOH, I may sell my truck, and then I can afford any marauder out there. His car is very nice and I respect the way he babies it as I am the same way. My neighbors all laugh at me because I'm washing my truck every other day or so. Believe me, I would love to have the car, I just need to make up my mind.

TheDude,

Where are you located? (San Diego, I'm guessing?)

Just curious, since I have a little bit of experience with shipping cars....or having them shipped, I should say. I had one shipped from Boston to Houston for $800, and another one shipped from Denver to Dallas for $500. Perhaps that will give you a rough idea. (Those were open trailers, by the way. Enclosed trailers are about double that cost.)

Also, I'm willing to help out in any way possible to assist you with the shipping. For example, it's usually cheaper to have a car shipped out of the Dallas hub because it's a major crossroads point for the rest of the country. So, for example, perhaps I could drive the car to Dallas for whatever my actual expenses would be if that would save you some money.

Another thing...I'm not desperate to sell the car. I would like to get out from under it due to my recent financial restructuring plan (as I now call it), but I can certainly afford to hang onto it for awhile longer. If it doesn't sell on Ebay this time, write down my phone number and check back with me if/when you're ready to buy one. Maybe I'll still have it.

Thanks, Alan. I feel the same way about you, my friend.

(By the way, sorry I didn't get a chance to call you last weekend when I was in your neighborhood. I'll catch up with you this Saturday when I'm working out there...if you're going to be around. I'd love to come see the new house and car!)

My apologies

I feel like I owe you an explanation for not bidding on your car, esp.considering its condition, miles, and asking price. My boss has given me the green light for a Marauder, but balked at their lack of stability control due to the occasional ferrying of her prized possession (our daughter). Traction control saved the day. Also, I'll want the mods on the car, more HP the better, and with a wife and toddler, I'll have difficulty scraping together funds to add them myself after the car is purchased. Your car is beautiful, I hope you get a good price for it.

Hah, with the 6" of snow I got today in St. Louis I wish I was in Sunny San Diego. No, I'm just a big fan of a team with no coaches. ;)

You are obviously a kind and thoughtful guy, and I do appreciate the efforts you're making to help make things easier for me. I'm going to have to do some serious soul searching to get to the bottom of what I really want and need. One minute I want to keep my truck and the next I say dump it. I've never had this much trouble making up my mind. I'm really getting myself worked up over it actually. Anyway, I'll figure it all out sooner rather than later I hope. Either way, I hope it all works out for you Sir.

It kills me to have to see you do this. You are a car-guy through and through, I know the personal anguish you went through to finally own a Marauder, and now having to deal with the "financial restructuring program" currently forcing your hand. Totally sucks! But, if history is any indicator and repeats itself here, you will handle this like you handle all other things thrown in your path: handled with dignity.

Whomever gets your car will be one lucky SOB!

Yep, I'll be around Saturday. Me and the boy are going to just hang out and do guy stuff. Might even hope for nice weather to get out and wash that ugly new car of mine!

Feel free to call and drop by anytime.
