Just as I got off the interstate heading home from Marty's today the AC quit blowing. Turned it off & on, switched fom vents to defrost, switched fan high & low, switched to max AC. Nothing worked to make it blow. Rolled down the windows 'til I got home then popped the hood. Compressor cycles like it ought to so I'm pretty sure it's the BMC. Fortunately I've got a spare so I'll take it apart to re-solder the connections before I swap. Unfortunately my Whipple and fuel lines take up even more of the space next to the heater so it's probably going to be a real PITA.
 
Oops, I was looking for the repair instructions on here and found that I used the wrong terminology...
It's the Blower Motor Controller (BMC)

If I were you I'd try jumping 12 volts straight to the blower motor or use a Digital Volt Meter to see if there is current going to the blower motor to make sure it isn't dead first. It is a lot easier to get to than the BMC.

I have a stock MM and replacing the BMC was a bear. I don't know how much worse it could be with your Power Adders there, too.
 
Mine too!!

Mine stopped blowing on Sunday???? Looking here for the probable solution. HELP!!!! 91 degrees tomorrow.

Wasn't too hard once the wiper cowl was removed. The replacement one looked well soldered so I just put it in and it worked fine. The old one looked ok too, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

Just a FYI, it's probably a good idea to pull the wiper cowl off periodically. There was some kind of rodent's nest at the air inlet for the AC system. Maybe restricted airflow caused it to overheat the BMC and stop the blower from running.
 
I thought when a BMSC quit the fan would be stuck on high, atleast that's how mine went. It was not too bad to replace. Needed to remove that rear rad hose and unbolt that emissions thing. A lot of wiggleing and it came out.
 
I was at work when mine went. I fixed in the lot without removing anything.

I agree with the rat's nest. After I'm cleared by my doctor from my hernia I need to do some serious cleaning of the car. Then I'll get to keep her in my new garage. :banana::burnout:

I replaced mine last fall, and I don't know how you can do it without disconnecting the heater core hoses---there's no room with them in place.
 
I thought it was my blower motor too but I got lucky it was the solenoid. New one was 40 dollars now works great

my buddy bought a used ranger a few months ago and when he got it home and took the airbox apart to replace the air filter, the box was literally FULL of a giant ass rat nest!
 
I bought one and have it in my glove box. I just tapped the BCM with a pry bar, and wha-la.

Did you try hitting it?
