Nightmare

I was just at a local Ford Dealer and saw a Ford F-150 Nightmare. Said 450 HP on the windshield, 1 of 100 built.

I never saw or heard of that before. I think it was a 2006 or 2007....

Same dealer has 4 Mustang Bullits, three GT-500's with the 5.4 L S/C and a Shelby. I had no idea there was enough $$$$ in Buffalo and the surrounding areas....

It is a 2007 that is based on the STX Special Edition. The ones for 2008 are based on the FX2 and have the flareside bed.

Nothing special about the Roush truck. I personally think the Roush logo Fords are overpriced junk. I would rather put a Trilogy kit on the F-150, then give it a custom paint job and badging. Then call it what the Fu*k I please to call it. :flamer:

True nothing special about tier version but at least with Rousch you get a warranty.

But as soon as you try to increase HP? Perormance POOF all gone warranty

NOT!! Roush does bolt on parts. And the truck RWHP is crap..with the 4R75 tranny to boot. they should have installed the 4R100 a la S/C'd Harley trucks from 2002-2003

The other week, I got an mailed invite from my local Ford dealer, offering me the "opportunity" to buy a 2008 F-150 CHip Foose Edition... Woo-pee-dee-doo!

I threw it out, but I think the pricing was around $58K Canadian!!! For this:

There's a Foose edition F150 parked at my local Ford dealer for over several months now, and I agree way over priced.

Ford should make a New Lightning. The name is right just make a Hybrid V8 SC'd.

Have a couple driving modes. One making gobs of power, a real sport mode, and another being the economy mode. Lower RPM shifts and maximized fuel economy.

A F150 with 600 BHP combined, but getting 35 MPG would be good for Ford.
