BIG BOSS APPLESAUCE
When I floor it and let it shift at 6000 rpms after letting off I hear a noise that sounds like something is spinning really fast and is winding down...not associated with MPH but it is with RPMs. After letting off it winds down about 4-5 seconds later.
Anyone else hear it???

Yah, I assume it's normal, possibly the tranny. I kinda thought it sounded cool... :D But I don't think it's anything to be concerned with.

I have the same noise.
Actually, I was at the dealer and asked them about it. They heard it too. His response was... He thinks its excess air backing up through the IAC into the intake tract. He said when the motor is wound up that high and then you let off, there is a lot of excess air in the motor that has no where to go but through the IAC and into the intake tract. He was sure it was not a transmission noise.
Makes me feel better that Im not the only one!!!
 
That's is easy enought to vheck, I just have to unplug the IAC motor and take it for a ride. It doesn't sound like a loud IAC but I could be wrong.
