Nor-Cal end of the year get together

jus4kix03mm: How do you like the Eibach springs? Which brand shocks are they wrapped around? Any idea how much lower than stock they are? Does the car scrape or hit curbs? How much stiffer are they than stock? Did you try cutting the stock springs first, or straight to Eibach?

I'm accumulating parts for a complete redo of the front end, and am contemplating springs and ride height as well, but don't want to go too low.
 
Lifespeed. The other San Jose MM is going. Do u have a preference on where u want to meet up. Ill let u decide. Let me know and ill tell the other MM owner. Hes not on the forum.
 
Lifepseed. Im running 20 inch wheels. When i put the eibachs on it went down about an 1 1/2 -2 inches. The eibachs are considerably stiffer. The ride on the car became very bouncy.
Maybe if I switched out the stock shocks to something that would accomodate the lowered springs it might ride better.
I went straight to eibachs.

That is quite a drop. I liked the stock shocks when they were new and actually worked, but all good things must come to an end. I'll let you know what I think of the Penske shocks in a month or so.

If youve watched alot of videos on youtube you may have come across "stuntman Chris". He just got another MM. If his baby isnt born tet, hell show up. But his wife is due anyday. So hes a maybe.
 
I will be there, just not in the Marauder. A deer rearrainged the left front end of Marauder this morning in route to work. Slightly pissed off ...
 
Had a epic fun time at the meet today! Finally got to see a DTR a DBP and a SB in person! And thanks to stuntmanchris for letting me and my friend ride there in his Rauder! Lots of beautiful and LOUD Marauders for sure! Video and pictures coming soon :2thumbs:

There's more than 200 MB with the video, so probably easiest to use FTP. Look in the "downloads" directory. You can upload to "uploads" if you're so inclined.
