I'm going to be in the Sacramento area through the end of the month and the very beginning of March. I'd love to have a meet up with anyone who is willing, as well as shoot your car if you'd like!

I'm on leave, any time is good. :D

The only day I have something else going on is this Saturday, the 19th. Everything else is open.

Any updates? I know the weather is kind of iffy for the next week, but I don't mind a little rain.
 
Sounds good to me. 10 day forecast says 55 and mostly sunny, so a good day for the outdoors. Of course, I'm willing to put in a bit of travel time too, so I'm good for anything in the area really.

Discovery something or other on the North side ofthe Golden Gate.
BlackHawk car museum -- not sure if they are open on Fridays.


My only time requirement for the day will be picking the kids up at daycare.
 
I haven't been to the Bay Area in a number of years, so I couldn't really tell you what's good around there.

According to that museum's website, they are open Wed-Sun, 10-5.

A shot with the Golden Gate in the background would be pretty cool. I think I've seen someone here who has a shot like that.

Other useful places are large parking lots, parking garages, industrial areas, etc...
 
Treasure Island. Open parking lots, bay views, ***** under the Bay Bridge (new and old).

Other ideas?
 
im willing to take a drive aswell, but Treasure Island sounds good if you guys want. let me know what time and if its for sure for everyone.:D
 
I've never actually stopped there, so that sounds good to me!

As for time, if we could make it around 11 or later that would be best for me, since I'd be skipping out on the morning commute to SF from here.
 
Someone has to do this ...

Let's meet at 11am on Treasure Island. When you come off the bridge, follow the road down and go past the guard house. Once past that, there is a parking lot directly in front of you, though the road veers slightly left.

We can take shots there and then either head to the city for lunch or over to Oakland. If we head to the city, we can then travel over the Golden Gate and go above the bridge there to capture some nice shots of the city, ships and bay.

We can decide on the 'after TI portion' that day so we can consider the weather.

Those that confirm, I can PM my phone number so I can be a point of contact for the day.

A little weather update: 40% chance of showers in SF on the 25th. Saturday, 26th is supposed to be sunny with 10% chance of rain. Would you be opposed to changing the date?

I'd love to, but my Marauder probably won't be repaired in time after my wife's accident - Second one, both times she crashed the front end. I should start buying grills by the 5-pack.
 
The more the merrier!

For me, I cannot make the 26th or the 27th. Baby Showers Nd my kids base ball games ... But if you can get more Marauders on Saturday, go for it. NAs for the weather predictions, I would only trust one 3-5 days out.
 
Alright, we'll stick to the plan then. A little overcast would be better for pictures anyway.
