North Texas Marauders Meeting Information!

LSCC Meeting

The Lone Star Cougar Club is having their monthly meeting this Thursday, Jan 13th at 6PM at Crystal's on the Eastbound access road of Airport Freeway (Hwy 183) East of Macarthur--this is our "mother group" who got us kinda organized in the early days. Our sponsoring dealer--Eagle L/M closed and we drifted away from our roots. I recommend a visit with them to see how we got started as a group. I plan to be there---hope to see you there.
If you want a " restaurant " meeting--I have at least 5 places we can use. I just need to know where we have the most folks so we can pick a place we can have expect the most participation. I'll start a new thread to map your locationss, Maury:beer:

Correction____correction !!!!!!!!

Just notified the LSCC meeting has been delayed for a week due to scheduling conflict at Crystal's--the meeting is now on Thursday, Jan 20th at 6PMHope to see you there, Maury:beer:

Hello, North Area marauders,

I moved to Irving, I will tune into the website for the next meeting and I hope to see all of you.

Eric

Welcome , Eric

Hi, I'm Maury--kinda the unofficial greeter---sorry you had to get here just in time for the worst weather we've had for a while--the Spring and Fall more than make up for it. Glad to see a DTR--haven't had an active one for over a year. Things will probably be pretty quiet til April--if we get a good forecast early enough, I'll try to put a Sunday Breakfast together--watch the forum.
Looking forward to meeting you---Maury:beer:

Maury, I know 2 other members that will show up at the next meeting, so now we just have to figure out a date. Do we know when the next LSCC meeting will be?

Maury.....Eric is/was a member of ours....I am sure you have met him at Centerville...he went form here to Houston and is now in your area.....At least he is keeping it in Texas!!

Hey Eric!!

Well I hope you guys still keep it going. How's Maury? The Marauder North Texas group was the only car club I really enjoyed. Since I've moved on to Mopars I haven't had the same type of cameraderie, to say the least. I'm a lone wolf now. I'm the one who had the Blue, and I still miss that car. Good luck to you guys.:)

How would yall feel about meeting in waco tx sometime during the summer? Theres a lot of great places to take pictures, fantactic places to eat, and theres a drag strip close if anyone is interested. Also on the first saturday of each month there is a cruise night. There is usually around 250 to 300 cars that show up. I think waco makes a good place to meet because its very centered for "most" people. Please let me know how you feel about this your feed back or questions you might have.

I would be cool with that, waco is about 1.5 hours away. Me and some of the other members have been talking about planning a bbq. I have been seeing a lot of MM's around town lately but its just hard for us all to hook up for some reason.

Here I am !!!!!

Yep, Cruzer is still alive and kicking---not too high, but still kicking. It's been a long , hard year, but things seem to be settling down. Ginny and I are now in a great retirement cottage in a small retirement commuity only 2 miles from our old home--from 3800 sq ft, 12 rooms to 1900 sq ft and 6 rooms--a 1080sq ft air conditioned shop to a 1 car garage---can't get 10 pounds of s--t in a 2 pound bag;) I hope to sign a contract to sell the old house tomorrow, so I will have to either sell or store the '69 Barracuda---anyone need a Mopar ??? Health-wise, things have deteriorated somewhat, but I can still get around and hold my own in the Marauder:D I would really like to see the Texas group get active again, but I can't be the spark plug anymore. I'll support anything you folks can set up---Waco isn't too far for me. Oh,yes, thanks John for the comments--makes an old man feel good. I haven't heard from anyone in almost a year--phone # is still the same--817-296-3819. Looking forward to Centerville-----maaybe "in the park"--Miss you folks a lot, Maury
