Nthe10s Dyno on E85

thats good to know that power by the hour can tune MS. I am getting ready to convert the SVO to MS in the next month or so and was worried that no locals could help tune the MS .Seems like more e85 stations are poping up I see a few of them here in Broward county .

little update...

Jake from Power by the hour was able to get a few more pony's out of the 2v today in 95* weather. 24psi car made 742rwhp. We turn it down to around 700rwhp to make a little saver on the street.

I have been adding 4 gallons of E85 to my tank at fill up for the last month. We only have 91 here, so I am hoping it will bring up the octane to at least 93-94.

Besides adding more fuel (pump/injectors/tune) is there any harware that needs to be changed out for the E85?

I'm on the fence as to either going full E85 or just stick with 91 and my Snow injection kit.

I wish I could increase the boost to at least 16 or 18 psi as my engine has been built to take it (hopefully).

What bottom end are you using?

What you listed pump, injectors, tune is all you should need. It takes about 28% more fuel to run e85. It is well worth it. Just changing to e85 I gained 40hp with out upping boost or triming.
I changed to full e85 but will be installing a tune for 93octane incase I am some where with out e85. Just to be sure.

I built my motor. Forged 8bolt crank, manly rod, diamond piston, iron block.

Good to know...do you know if the rubber hoses in the tank on the fuel pump are E85 compatible?
