Anyone know where to get a Ford/Mercury Sirius Satellite factory radio that will exactly replace the MM Cassette/CD-Changer Radio?

I'd be interested in that myself. Certainly would look better than my XM running through a cassette adapter. At least I actually found a use for the cassette player and it doesn't sound half bad either.

I believe that is a dealer installed option.

It hasn't been the same since the the two compainies joined forces. :soap:

I recently stopped by my local Lincoln Mercury dealer to ask this question. They said that the OEM radio from a <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com
><st1:place w:st=
lincoln</st1:place> would fit. Of course it would cost an arm and a leg.

Also found this on ebay Link

I did an OEM Sat radio in my Lightning - It was expensive BUT I was tired of having windows broken etc to steal the $30 XM roady - THe OEM radio was from an Econoline van

If you cant get help from the dealer look up the local radio repair shop that the dealers farm stuff out to - they have take out radios and can help with this kind of question

I did it because it looked stock

Which worked great till they took the whole truck

The factory deck in the eBay listing above and sat-ready decks from other Fords & Mercs will work (if the plugs are the same), but they all require a tuner from Ford at about $350.

i really like mine. 6cd changer in the dash, plays mp3' on cd's, sirrus/XM radio ready

nope.. mine set me back a good 250 i beleive but i wanted something someone wouldn't smash the window for. but also sound good.. i acutally like the sound of this unit better then the stocker. seems to use the subwoofer better then the stock unit.

I'm interested in that Escape unit too...please post the info when you have it...not thinking I'm ready for that as an XMAS present but a tax refund might be well used on a nice 6 CD unit that actually works (mine in the trunk is kaput)
