DON'T FORGET YOUR LAWN CHAIRS.

It's been raining off and on here so I'll wash the car in Southlake. Prolly come back home tonight. Got two birthdays to fund, one son and one grandson.

See you guys in a few hours.

Adam, Sorry about that! We could have an even ten (10)!!! cars today if everyone shows up. Lets do it guys, the weather will be great, not too hot and no rain! Pats right about chairs as well. See you guys around 5 pm. Jim

We did it !!!!!!!!

Looks like the old spark has come alive---Thanks, everyone. Talked to Steve and Linda--looks like one--possibly 2 more Marauders-still trying to contact Dan (2003MIB)--no luck yet. I may not get to the Chucks lot till about 4:40 because I will be at Johnny B's setting up Marauder Alley---will be at Chucks in plenty of time to caravan back--bear with me--can't wait to see you folks----Maury:D

Great

I*'m really looking forward to see you and Gina again--it's been a long time--if you get in early, give me a call. Pray for good weather--Maury:beer:

In cas you missed it

In a recent post in the "North Texas Marauder Meeting Info" heading, there is an SVT show this Saturday--go to http://www.mercurymarauder.net/forums/showthread.php?t=56034 for up-to-date details. If Buckwheat can drive down from St Louis, can't you local folks at least make an effort to make this one:confused::(:bows:---thanks to those who have responded. Congrats on the new "garage", Adam. See you there, Maury

Hey Maury!

Howdy All,

I'm at home in Central Texas for another few days and I hope to be driving up to Richland Hills/Hurst/Haltom City for business.

Maury, if you are available Monday or Tuesday, it sure would be good to see you for lunch!

My wife will be with me and we will be driving her MKS; my Marauder is in Philadelphia right now... Call it a micro-get together!

I'll be away doing family vacation stuff this weekend, so I'll miss any events this Saturday. :( Maybe we can hang out next week?

See you all someday!

Kevin

Sorry gents but unfortunately I won’t be able to make it tomorrow.

John, I was really hoping to see you again. Maybe next time?

Or is there any chance you may finally be moving back to Texas?

Gary

What a surprise--call me at 817-296-3819--Monday clear--Tuesday afternoon same--looking forward to seeing you both, Maury

O K, where were you ????

About 150 cars showed up--heat and all---I sat there from 4:30 til 7:00 and had given up--looked around the corner and there sat a DTR--- made a PA asking if the owner would meet me, and I met Jeff and Dawn from Arlington. I believe they said that Dawn's Dad, Virgil, has a SB w/sun roof also--so I gave them my Marauder cards and we should be meeting again soon. This morning, Ginny and I had breakfast with John and Gina Nolin (Mr & Mrs Buckwheat). John has Logan' s Trilogy black w/blue pearl MM. Yesterday he blew the tranny and showed up driving a 2011 Lincoln MX ??? turbocharged 365 hp black beauty. He came back for the show for moral support---(I needed it;)) Well any how, since I only had one registered Marauder--me---we didn't have our own class, so I registered as a 2000 plus, folded my card so you had to make an effort to read my number, didn't sit by the car, it was too hot, and guess what--a 113,000 mile daily driver that went thru the $10 car wash an hour before the show was a "Class Winner" How bout that:D If you folks would just come out of hiding we could be having a lot of fun--it's your loss. Seriously, I'm getting lonesome and depressed :help:. The next show is Christian Cruisers on Aug 21--7-11 PM, Birdville HS Stadium, Precinct Line Rd and Mid-Cities Blvd, Hurst/ N. Richland Hills. There were 437 registered show cars there in April. A few Marauders wouldn't hurt. Great group, judged show, love kids--special activities and door prizes for them---let me know, I'll reserve spaces--10 to 20, I wish:rolleyes:--Getting late, got a full day tomorrow, Old Man Maury

Sorry I couldnt make it Maury but glad you won the award! Im just not into paying $10 to sit in a parking lot during the hottest time of the year. It will be getting cooler in a couple of months and more willl be going on (like our trip to Centerville.)

I understand--whew !!

But I sat in the shade with a nice cool breeze all day--didn't know it would be that way til I got there. Hope you can make Christian Cruisers on Aug 21, 7-11 PM ( cool) or the Sct VT show on Oct 30 (cooler )--then Centerville--Oh Yeah !!!!--could still be a nice year for us. See you soon, Maury

Thanks

We missed you and Patricia, but understand--John and Gina send their best--seems like they are surveying the housing market here--keep your fingers crossed. Keep us posted, Maury

I wanted to make it over there with the new ride, but we ended up spending the day car shopping for car for our son. We were everywhere between Garland and Bonham, but never got West of 75, so we couldn't make it. I want to make it to the next one.

Not all bad new, I guess, as we ended up buying him a 97 Blazer with a ton of miles, but fairly straight. Its a good first car.
