One Optima red top...$109.00

One can of starter fluid...$1.79

5 galllons of gas...$9.00

Turning her over on first try...priceless!

Hasn't run since the fall, but did today. I drove around the circle at my buddy's industrial complex in Hatboro. (not inspected yet)

It has a '67 283 backed with a Turbo 350. I also have a '61 283 and the 2 speed Powerglide. It has a B&M ratchet shifter coming through the floor, but I'm going to fabricate some linkage back to the column.

Wow, that looks like a great start! I'll be looking forward to more pics as your project progresses.

Best,

Paul :)

WOW Jal,
I LOVE the old iron...I wish I still had my parents 1974 Impala Convertible. I loved driving that car, if I only had known how it would be worth something I would have done a full frame-off and kept her. There was NOTHING like driving it to the beach with the ragtop down and the tunes up....pure heaven.

nice car!:D
My first car was a 63 Impala, 2 speed on the column.
Nice ride, brings back memories.

Nice! Hope to see your progression.

My first car was a Chevy II*, my father wrecked it while test driving after a mod.

*I NEVER DROVE IT!

Thanks guys! I'm looking forward to some bloody knuckles and sweat.

Oh, and a thin wallet...

Jeff

Jeff: Where are you going to put the God's Head badges?? Just kidding. Looks like a great starting point. Brings me back a whole lot of years. Now, I feel old.....

Enjoy!!
