Pittsburgh area sightings

Its unusual when I see another Marauder around here. There must not be many where I'm traveling. But on Monday of this week, I was driving west on the PA turnpike about 30-40 miles from Pittsburgh and I saw a Marauder SVT, heavy tint on the windows, and driving right at the speed limit. Very nice looking car.

The very next night, I turned on to Rt 60 in Crafton, heading towards I-79, and I pull right behind another Marauder. This one had red inserts in the rear bumper. We exchanged waves, but I would have gladly pulled into Primanti's and shared some cold ones.

Both were nice looking rides, hope I see them again.

Ahhhh what I could give for a Primanti's sandwich, must be from the Strip District though.
 
I was dumbfounded when we went to the Detroit auto show in January... I saw Marauders everywhere... we were in town for less than 24 hours and I must have seen 6 or 8 of them... they must think the rest of us are nuts, but we just don't see ourselves headed the other way too often!

I think Pittsburgh could really use a decent Lincoln-Mercury dealer... we shopped several when we were sniffing around for one and I can easily understand why we don't see more on the road.

If you see my blue one I'll buy a round!

I think it was a problem with the Pittsburg DSO. We have 4 L/M dealers in the area. Chambersburg sold = 0, Gettysburg = 0, Interstate at Shippensburg, don't know. When I went into the Gettysburg dealer last week, looking for leftover sales booklets & such, the dealership emptied to look at mine, the first one they had ever seen. The Hanover dealer had 2, and they sat on the lot forever; mine, 8 months. I have never seen another MM on the road, except when traveling with the CAM guys to/from an event. There were 8 at the Carlisle All Ford Nationals, one of 'em from Colorado.:)
 
I was just going to mention that. When they wer new and I would be home Benson always seemed to have atleast 1-2 new.
