For Sale Please post wanted factory parts. Insurance totalled it

I'd be interested in the whole car as well-to fix that is.

If you part it out I need fog light bracket, rear bumper, possibly driver's seat if it is nice, 1 wheel, rubber hood bumpers on the radiator support and fenders, hood bolts, and the little plastic knobs that holds the trunk panels in.

guys interested in the car after the insurance totals it (i assume salvage title??), please PM your offers.

I have pics that show water was no higher then 6-8 inches around the car. Water never got inside the vehicle. In the rear the water did go up to the tailpipes (Inclined driveway)

I'm sorry, but am lost on how the insurance company will total this car?

Your sig pic shows a SB, but you stated the MM is black?

Totally confused on this and how/why the insurance company was contacted to begin with? Considering no water made it's way inside the vehicle.

Mike.

My avatar, not my sig pic, is obviously of a police marauder. I never said that was mine.

Here's a little background:

This car was my mothers car and was parked at my house during hurricane Sandy in the driveway. My driveway is on an incline so the car was spared excessive damage. If it was in the street it wouldve been underwater. I live on the south shore of Long Island. All vehicles that were left in my area (declared a disaster zone) has pretty much been totaled by insurance. They don't have the time/resources to dig into details. She wanted to keep the vehicle but the insurance was actually insisting on totalling it. Stated "salt water ruins everything". She was happy with the value she got and that's where I stepped in to help guys that need parts or now I am looking into doing a buyback with the Insurance. I dont really have the time to be online much now with the house situation but I posted here since they were going to be towing it soon. Im not a scammer or fraud, even tho I have few posts here. I am over at SVTPerformance as 2012GTCS and TheMustangSource with plenty of feedback. When I get some time I will try to post some pics.

This car was actually listed for sale in the classified section back in August. There's more details on it there.

as per the insurance adjusters in the area they are saying all the cars will be crushed due to the nature of the damage and federal regulations?? Regs being cars in an area considered a disaster zone by the President. This is to prevent a rash of cars being sold in other areas with flood damage and not represented as such. As happened several years back in Florida and other states. Just what they stated, who knows though. (Insurance guys and car salesman, cant trust 'em LOL) So if they plan on keeping it, I assume they'd be rather upset if I plucked parts off of it first lol.

Here is where you can find a list of vehicles that will go up for auction due to water/flood damage.

You will also find a list of vehicles in NY that will go. Yes insurance agents will tell you anything, and being a former New York-er I believe what I see rather than what is told to me. I hunted my totaled Marauder within the system and bought it back at a lesser price. Something they said couldn't be done.

You do realize that you HAVE to buy back the car in order to part it out? It's not an "OR" situation. When the insurance company pays for the car it must remain in the same condition as when they estimated it. You can take personal items but nothing else.

Well after everything was worked out between house, home, and all the other nonsense, I bought the car back from the insurance company. Car was retained so the title is clear and the car has zero problems. Car won't be parted out, either sold whole or I will keep it and play with it! Still debating
