Procharger install faq's needed

As some may already know, I'm purchasing motorhead's Procharger. I've been reading and looking for some install tips without much success. I'm familiar with the basic install of a Supercharger as far as mounting and plumbing, but I'm looking for Marauder specific details. Ive been talking with Blackened300a. I appreciate his will to get me headed in the right direction. It has been brought to my attention that I may need a different fan of some type to allow room for placement of the blower itself. If any others can provide me with some need to know info, I'd greatly appreciate it.

This is my first major mod to my '03 MM, and havent done any major work to it besides gears, program, and cold air. My experience has been with Foxbody Mustangs.

Thanks in advance.

Although mine is a DR vortech set up (I did not purchase from DR, but from a member who never installed it) I got some info from Pat in Louisiana. Pat mailed me a install instruction for basically the mustang fr which the kit was derived from and i copied it and sent it to Dustin in Cali who was having trouble getting some answers and parts from DR. I'm not sure if it will help or not, I'm not exactly sure where I have it right now after packing and moving into my house back in April. The fan for the vortech system is a mustang electric fan that mounts slightly off center. Unfortunatley I do not have a parts list or part numbers. If i can find it, I'll copy and send it if yuo like. or you can Pm Pat or Dustin (88LTDCV351) to see if they have a fan part number

Check out any/all procharger posts on this forum. Hopefully someone has to have kit instructions laying around they could forward to you. Hang in there and good luck!

Pm me your email address. I can send you the manual if you don't have it. It shows you what to do with the fan and shroud. Biggest pain is routing all the piping.
Did you get or do you have the 39# injectors?

P.s mine was also a take off.

Good Luck.
Flip the OEM fan shroud 180*.

Use TClamps. I have good luck w/ BoostController.com for couplings and TClamps.

He is supplying 60's with this kit.

Yes. I know I'm getting on his nerves with various questions. Just trying to get everything lined up. I was going to wait a while to install this but the more I visit this site the more anxious i get.

Wow 60s? May wanna go with 39s since you are running lower boost on a stock engine. The fan was out of a 02 or 04 mustang gt that the vortechs used. MMBLUE who I sold mine to maybe can offer up the part number. The marauder electronics will have to be adapted into it. It looked like they wired it in and zip tied the module off the marauder fan onto it.
Here's a pic of it.

My buddy and I were talking about this a while back. When I ran my supercharged fox I ran 42's. They were almost at there max if I'm not mistaken. I was running 10-12 psi. He was saying most people are recommending 60's now so fuel will not be an issue and have to worry about maxing out the duty cycle on the injectors

As far as the fan, another member up top was saying rotate the shroud. In the pics it looks like trimming the shroud will work. Hopefully someone will chime in and clarify that either will work.

yes Make sure u run a upgraded fuel pump. Flip the Fan over As other have said. That's how mine is. I also have the install manual if u need I can email to you, It's not the best Manual by far but it gives a good idea of what needs to be done. I little trimming on ur stock tensioner is needed also. a spacer here and there... Makes sure you get the pulleys lined up. Cross over pipe between the heads u will need raised like an inch or so. is dom giving you the old one? Have fun!!!

congratulations on the buy,I saw it the day earlier and was ready to buy this weekend but was working out of town, doesn't help ive bought 2 MM this summer already, Lucky guy
