Procharger install faq's needed

I thought of that too. Not sure what it takes to do this said mod. What's involved? Well I can do a search as well.

Do it absolutely. I just cooked #8 on my stock motor at 12 PSI without the cooling mod. Every other cylinder looks perfect.

What does it take to do this mod? Sounds like its the first thing I need to do. Could Mo's do this mod when I take it for tuning I wonder?

Yes Mo's can do it. It involves removing lower intake to swap two freeze plugs on top rear of block with ones that have tubes welded on. Connecting hoses and routing to front radiator hose or I think one of the heater hoses. It's to get coolant to rear of the head. Not sure who sells the kits now.

Yep. Yep.

Get the fastblackmerc one. Keep in mind they are made to order so factor in production time.

Doesn't sound like too bad of a job. I remember over a year ago I asked if someone close to me would like to assist in this mod and I'd pay them. I like getting my hands dirty too

Fastblackmerc said he may have one of reinharts kits that he may not use.

Rinhart rear head cooling kit is better, imho. Billet freeze plug adapters, that fit either NA or eaton swap, with o-rings and keeper brace that are screwed on, not an old brass plug filled with solder that you have to hammer in...

Is it possible that anyone would have a pic or layout of the parts to mount the headunit. Just wanting to make sure I have what I need. Not saying he didn't send everything, just wanting to be sure before we start the install.

Hope this helps

I really need to see which spacer/bushings are used with which pulley and where.

Hmmm, show me what you got.
Judging by the pic of the head unit posted in another thread, you should have two studs with nuts, one washer and one bushing that attach the head unit to the front of the engine. One goes thru pulley adjacent to the tensioner pulley (remove existing bolt. The other goes just above that one (remove bolt that is there). IIRC they both go in as far as they can and still with enough thread left showing for washer, bracket and nut for top stud and pulley bushing, bracket nut for bottom one. No washer/spacer/bushing on front side of bracket.
BTW, the discharge tube opening points toward the ground.

Remove the bolt that goes into the left ear of the lower alternator mount. You should have an allen head bolt that replaces it. The idler pulley that attaches to this is the tricky part. There should be bushing for front and back of this pulley. Small offset bracket bushing-pulley-bushing-bracket-allen head bolt. Do not tighten, as offset bracket sits at certain angle to seat correctly. Very little space between pulley and water pump pulley.

Hope this helps.
