In 24's they only carry this wheel in 24x8 with +40 offset. If they made a wider rim, I could have put that in the back with a little lower offset but still had the flush look. These rims came with the +40, so they are perfect for the car. Check them out, just search MKW m 106. I actually ordered them off ebay from some shop selling like 9-10 sets for $800 shipped. The typical price for these rims is like $280 a piece, which still isn't bad for 4's. They also make them in 22x8.5 with a high offset for those interested in deuces. 24x8 is a thin rim when talking 24's. Not many wheels are available in that size with our lug pattern 5x114.3. I will take some front and back pictures along with some close ups, so you can see how it looks. The wheels don't look as thin as you would think because the car isn't lifted. The factory rims are 8 inches wide with a +50 offest, I believe. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong.
If you like the deep lip look, then you will probably have to go with a wider rim, preferably 24x9, but I've read and seen others who put 24x9.5 and were alright. But once you get wider, you have to go down on the offset. Probably no lower than +35. If you go too wide of a rim with too high an offset, then it will stick out. If you go too wide a rim with too low an offset, the rim will sit in too far and have a real chance for serious rubbing issues on turns. There are plenty of members who have wider rims in the rear and it sits fine with the right offset, problems usually occur up front. I took the cautious route and went with the thinnest 24 I could find, hoping to prevent issues. I can do a full u-turn with no real issues.
These rims have the deep look despite the high offset because they don't have those fake 3 piece bolts that most rims have. So besides those few spoke pieces, its all rim. Plus the face on them is almost straight up and down, I never liked those rims that have the big lip but the face looks bubbled to make up for the needed high offset. It almost makes the rim look smaller. Plus you have to make sure the rim will clear the front brake caliper. I will try and take some more pictures from different angles and post so you can see just how they sit.
