Rear end gear expert needed!!

I have odered a Ford Racing 4:30 gear, but i suspect the one i received to be a Motive gear because it have engraved very small the #F888430 wich is the Motive part # for this gear.

Someone can told me how i can identify a Ford Racing one?

If it looks like this, It's not Ford Racing. I was told this gear was a Ford part when I bought it. The mechanic told me I was lied to when they were pulled out after they blew up. If it's not a Ford part, don't install it.

Did you ever have any recourse with the vendor/shop that sold you the "FRPP" gearset?

I believe the FRP gears have the ratio engraved on the ring facing side of the pinion

Are the 4.30 gears actually OEM and installed in any ford products?

My OEM 3.55 gears MY 2000 vintage
