Bring the big Meg memory cards. The photo opportunities at the cruise are nothing short of SPECTACULAR! :drool:
 
I'm on the books. Anyone bringing a digital camera I'll have my laptop with me to transfer pictures off of your memory card and put onto a cd in case you run out of room. Like Mike said, photo opportunities are more than plentiful.

Marauderchick, I'd like to have a discussion with you and the Atlanta hospitality people about the traffic jam I was in on I-285 at GA 14 Saturday, what a mess!!! :D

Believe me......I feel your pain!!! I get to drive in this disaster area EVERY SINGLE DAY!! I have a 60 mile ONE-WAY commute to my job! I get to travel on I-20, I-285 and GA400!!! Oh JOY!!! It usually takes me about an hour and a half to get to work (on a normal day).....Friday afternoons are a total nightmare!! Minimum of 2 hours to get home!!

Now as far as Atlanta Hospitality......well......we can't ALL be full of Southern Charm...(like me...hee hee hee).;)

Hope your next trip to Atlanta is less eventful.....:o

Did you see the other thread in MVIII updates about Thursday, august 18 and the tours? It lays out what we have set up as possible tour destinations in the area for thursday morning and early afternoon. All the links for each is there. Since there was a lot to choose from, we left registering and paying for each tour up to each member. You can pick and choose, attend with other members. There was NO way we could possible coordinate and collect moneys and keep times and groups and who is going with who to what and where! The day is there for members to socialize and tour as they see fit with each other without pressure of deciding right this second with MVIII registration that is going on now.
As for official MVIII registration, Maury, I have you down for attending, a parking spot at the dream cruise saturday, and drag racing on friday.
Breakfast sunday morning is on us, and is included. Lidios dyno day wednesday is up to individuals as to paying for a dyno or tune or minor work that you may set up with lidio, and has nothing to do with the planning committee charging a fee. Check the link below about the Henry Ford, Greenfield village, Rouge tour, and IMAX film. These are the only events you will need to set up on your own and pay for online at their website. Hope this helps clear things up...any other questions folks, please ask!

38 Members Registered.

38 Additional Guests Registered

33 Cars Parked at Woodward!

20 Cars Drag Racing at Milan....

Not to shabby for a less than a week. There are a lot more people than 36 registered at the host hotel, and only a few Motor City Guys are Registered yet. Please move on registering if you can. Any questions....please ask.

We are doing well with registrations so far. No need to register for folks cause we need their individual information.
Folks, I wouldnt wait to long, this thing could fill up fast. Keep in mind that there are restrictions on how many Maruaders will fit for parking and drag racing also.
