Rex SC Cheesehead

incredibly sad news. when zack asked if i had herd the bad news i had assumed Pauls motor blew, not this.

RIP Rex, you were a super nice person and it was a pleasure to build "slayer 2" for you.

I will always remember Rex as a good guy and consummate Diplomat. Never wanting things in our community to be so serious, that people had to take sides...... Always respected his point of view and ability to keep perspective....

He was always full of good humor and good times as well. Always had a funny joke to offer... Ride on friend. We were fortunate to have you here for the time we had.....

We will see your smile again friend..... Until we meet again.:bows:

Sincere condolences to Terry & family. May you find peace......

I just don't know what to say, simple words just can't describe the sadness I feel. Rex, you were a good friend that I will miss terribly. I'll miss playing cribbage and jabbing back and forth about Vikings Packers. I will always remember you and hold you dear in my heart. I'll forever hold your last text to me wishing my ViQueens well.
You always brought smiles to everyone's face, you filled with an eagerness and passion to help your fellow enthusiast. You were a MAN among men

Until we can play cribbage again, RIP my good friend. Earth is a less satisfying place without you here

Well said Tom, to meet Rex once was to have a friend for life. Often imitated, never replicated, Rex was a one of a kind special man, good for all time zones, and dedicated to the happiness of those around him.

Still in shock, forever in debt for this world giving me such a good friend

My condolences to Rex's family. I've only been on here a 7 months but could tell his character was straight up. I'm glad he got our support with this last battle. He Was our October MM of the Month and he felt our love coming back home from the hospital and finding out. Peace and Love to you Rex, you are with us always

Totally shocked and speechless....

I counted Rex as a good friend having conversed and joked with him for many years on this forum and then finally meeting him at MV9.

I always respected his opinion and level headed approach to the occasional drama on this site.

Sad sad sad day for me and everyone who knew Rex.

I don't know what I'll do without seeing Rex's "Jocularity" in threads.

Wow....I'm so sorry to hear this.

Very saddened to hear this news. As silly as it may sound, I'll never get to snap his suspenders again or give him a bear hug. It was a pleasure and honor to meet such a great man. May his memory bring strength to his family.

Rest in peace Rexie.

WHAT, Nooooo!!!! One of the truly great persons in the Marauder community has passed on. This is a great loss. Rex was always good for a laugh and a kind word, especially in my recent health issues. I will truly miss him.

Condolences to Terry, family and friends.

R.I.P Rex, ever eternal DTR brother.

P.s at this viewing Highway to Heaven just came on...

I'm shocked to hear this and I never had the chance to meet him in person. Always seemed like a funny and great friend to everyone. RIP bud.

Rest in Peace, Rex

So very sad, Thank you for welcoming us with open arms in Louisville. Let Neil or I know if we can do anything.

I didn't have the pleasure of meeting Rex but this news really saddened me.
It's clear, from reading through these posts and from seeing his input on this site regularly, that he was an integral part of what makes this site what it is. It's hard not to feel like this community lost part of its foundation today.
I wish his wife and family strength in this very difficult time.

I was just going to say that Kelly & I will never forget the warm welcome we received in Louisville this past year meeting Rex for the first time. Being newbies in the group Rex was the warm welcome and friendly spirit that anyone wants to experience. This is absolutely shocking and devastating for this community to lose such a helpful and warm hearted member. You will never be forgotten and it was a PLEASURE meeting you. Our thoughts are with you and your family.
