If you've loaded the tune into your car, I think the tuner is "married" to your vehicle, don't think you can load the tune into another car.

+1, if you didn't returned your vehicle back to the stock tune, the tuner is worthless unless someone pays extra to get it unlocked.

I have an SF3(exactly like an XCAL3) and I married it to my car, then turned it back to stock and married it to my friends Expedition and did the canned tune from SCT on it, drove it to see if he liked it then turned it back to stock and put it back on the marauder. As long as the previous owner turns his tuner back to stock, it unlocks it from that car to open it for a new car.

I'm not stoopid! I returned car to stock before selling it. It's good to go with DR Performance Tune and Race Gas Tune for next owner. :)

i thought the brains have to have the same 4 digit numbers in the door jams to swap.

In my experience(not a guarantee, so don't blame me when it does not work for you) the SCT SF3 and Xcal3 will be transferable if your model is covered by the hardware. You have 5 or 6 times you can return to stock and put it on another car, then it has to be sent to SCT to be reset for 150.00 and get your 5-6 returns to stock back. The Xcal3 I had that had been thrown away by a now EX girlfriend had been on a friends 03 Cobra and his Lightning before that. I had two returns left. The SF3 I acquired after that with a Zack V2.0 tune on had been on a procharged 05 mustang before and I could have loaded his tunes onto my car (would have not ran) since they carried over but I just deleted them and put the Marauder file on. What this means for the seller and buyer here is that his tunes that he has on the SCT will be able to transfer to you, however I would request a picture of how many returns to stock are left.

Looks like a great price with some awesome tunes if there are a couple returns left. Anyone here with a Marauder (Or other ford) should have no trouble tuning their car with this if A: It is in fact returned to stock and B: The tuner has a couple returns left on it.

I hope this cleared up any confusion potential buyers have and helped the seller with a quick sale!
