Sea Foam Intake Treatment

Black Machine

I am thinking of pulling the vacuum line off my intake and spraying sea foam inside of it to hopefully remove of any built up oil varnish/gum from my intake and cylinder head intake ports. What are the PRO'S vs CON'S? What is the exact procedure? Any input is greatly appreciated.

Is this for a Marauder?

i have done this on multiple vehicles with no ill effects. i have done it with seafoam, marvel mystery oil, and straight water.

I think I need to do mine, pings like I'm running 87 octane or something only 50000 miles a lot of short hopping runs great other wise ,has to be carboned up? Guess I'll try Sea foam and see what happens.

You guys can hate seafoam all you want.....i swear by increased throttle response and acceleration.

True story: i was driving, richardp was a passenger. At a red light, i took off, made a left hand turn, punched the gas and took off like a bat out of hell......richardp says " holy ****, what did you do!?", i laugh and tell him i just seafoamed it a couple days ago, and im now running redline sl1 in the gas", he couldn't believe it...thought i added a mod or something.

Im not saying it produces more hp, or torque. Im not saying everyone will have the same results. But i will say that i seafoam twice a year, and i notice a improvement in throttle response and acceleration each time.
