Show your SCT Tuners

This may be a stretch as I haven't seen any in pictures. I am under the understanding that the SCT tuner that tunes are downloaded into are also monitors. I had an Edge Evolution CTS in my Expedition, it was mounted to the base of the windshield lust like a GPS mounts. I liked it because it allowed me to pic certain PIDS to monitor.
So are you guys using a similar tuner or does it just load the tune onto your car and you unplug it until its needed.

It's as you guessed, handheld, plug into OBD port, flash in tune, unplug until needed again.
It can be used to datalog, via cables to laptop, explained best on the SCT site.

My Edge Evolution was nice ($485)
as I was able to select Trans temp, coolant temp, RPM etc etc and keep an eye on all that as I was driving. Don't get me wrong, I like the gauges but if you have to get a tuner anyways why not get the capability to monitor all the cars functions as you are driving. I thought I would have seen at least one of the touch screen programmers but I guess everyone prefers top just load the tune and unplug it
