Has anyone tuned their Marauder using Sniper Tuning? We had this custom tune installed in our Ford F-250 diesel truck and we are happy with the tune. Sniper tuning is seen more in gasoline engines rather than diesel engines. If you have used this tune on your Marauder, we would like your opinion on it. Thanks.

Most of the folks here are running SCT xCal tuners, a couple guys are using Diablosport, not sure about Sniper.

Mo's Speed Shop in GA and Alternative Automotive in MI are the two premier Marauder tuners (also both are vendors here on the site), and they both use SCT systems.
 
I inherited a Sniper tune on my old Marauder and loved the tune itself.

Hated the handheld, it had no readout, had to be connected to a laptop and it was passcode locked and they couldn't unlock it for me to return to stock

Granted this was an older tuner do maybe things have changed, but I like my XCal 3's

We are going to give Sniper Tuning a try. We will dyno the car before and after the tune. When we have the results we will post them up.

We were given the option to have a selector control for the tune. My truck is one tune with no adjustment options. What is your opinions about having selectable tunes? I know the truck has a adaptive transmission that learns your driving styles. Does this car have a transmission like this? Our truck dyno was 315 hp and 517 ft lb torque at the rear wheels. But the seat of your pants feel is a lot more. She also does not smoke when the pedal is mashed.
 
^^^ My duramax I have EFI Live on it with 5 selectable tunes... On gas car I don't see a need for 5 tunes but maybe 2-3 max. Could have one to run E-85 or if you are boosted.
