Atlanta Impalas N Caprices, better know as ATL INC, will be hosting this years Car Show at 16th Annual Southern Super Heavy Shootout, Saturday November 12 at Atlanta Dragway.

“Not everyone wants to drag race their car. Regardless we all still drive, compete, and show our Cars with pride. I’m glad to hear that ATL INC stepped up to support the car show.”, stated Howard Rothstein the head car show judge.

Participants will compete for Top 10, Best Paint, Best Interior, Best Engine and of course Best in Show.

The Southern Super Heavy Shootout draws participants from up and down the entire east coast from Connecticut, down to the Miami, Florida. Racers from Michigan and Wisconsin are regular attendees. We’ve even seen participants from Missouri and California. For many of the northern participants the Shootout is the last event of the year.

Gates open at 8am.

Judging will be at 11am. Racers will be judged during the lunch break around noon.

The Awards ceremony will take place at the end of the drag races, approximately 4:30pm.

So how many Marauders do I get to see there?
And how many of them do I get to beat with a station wagon?
 
Should have 2 there from my camp. Gotta find a place to park the RV cause i think there is a building going up in the fairfield lot now.

I plan to be there with my Marauder. Looking forward to seeing everyone again this year.

This is a great event and a lot of fun. If you haven't been before, do yourself a favor and come nout to Commerce.

We're going...We won't be set up there but Kristi will have her car.
We have a pair of stock Marauder wheels in decent condition (no caps), with fair tires, we can bring to the show for sale cheap. Let me know if anyone is interested.
Also, I can bring parts (control arms, Watts link kits, loops, pulleys, etc) upon request if anyone wants to take advantage of a 'show special' price.
