That is NOT the date. The official date has not yet been set. It definitely won't be on a Saturday though as the plant it closed. Previously it has been scheduled on Friday so chances are it will be June 17. I will keep you posted once I know more.

Would be really neat to get up there for the tour this year. Given the distance I've got to travel, will prolly make a week's vacation of it and do some other sightseeing.

I remember when the last truck rolled off the Ontario Truck Plant (home of the Lightning). Some brothers and sisters were clapping and I thought 'You idiots, you're clapping people out of a job'.
Thankfully I'm now next door at Oakville Assembly Complex producing the Ford Edge, Flex and Lincoln MKX, MKT.

40 of the CAW members from St.Thomas are heading down the highway to The Oakville Assembly Complex where I've been for over 26 years. For what a house costs in Oakville I could have lived like a king in St.Thomas.
