Trying to gauge interest in a tentative CAM Meet to support the "Fallen Heroes and Benefit Concert" hosted by Looney's Pub for the two Harford County Deputies ( Senior Deputies Mark Logsdon and Patrick Dailey) killed in the 10 February incident in Bel Air. Would be nice to roll in together in some big sedans to show support to Charlie/DEFYANT and his comrades.

IF it becomes a definite, I'll be there (6 weeks from now--more than enough time for the DTR to get there--HA!)

Thanks for posting this up Charlie. I am sorry I have been away so long. Disposable time is in short supply these days. Consequently I dont frequent the boards as often. My junkfood internet time is spent in lil bites on a Facebook app!

On 2/10/16 at 11:46am two of my friends and coworkers placed themselves between a violent criminal and innocent people. They fell in battle as true warriors! The murdering criminal was swiftly dispatched to the depth of hell where he no doubt burns in a lake of fire as I write this...

Any support for the cause would be appreciated. Both officers leave behind families who are now forced to find support elsewhere. If there is a substantial gathering coming, I can reach out to find us parking away from the masses. The Bel AIr high school is better than what I was thinking and is closer. As long as no one minds walking a couple of blocks....
 
Upon hearing the news of this tragedy in our backyard, my thoughts instantly went to Charlie. We all have seen the news reports of officers being targeted and do feel for their families and brothers and sisters in blue, but when it's a place you've been...near the grocery store you shop in...a heartbeat away from being someone you love like a brother. It's different. These two warriors... (as Defyant defined them, and they shall be remembered) put themselves in harms way without any fear. I'm proud to say that I am a part of the community that is showing its support and gratitude towards these two and their families. I'll be at Looneys and whatever else is happening to give as much as I can to ensure that these officers families will not have to be burdened with anything more than they've already been burdened with.
 
I have been made aware there will be a $20 cover fee. They are expecting a huge turnout. I can get tix ahead of time to avoid waiting in lines. Is the group still interested?

I am assuming that the cover fee is going into the donation pot. Also assuming this is per person. I am still interested for 2 people.

Yes indeed. In fact, all consumables are donated by the vendors, employee salary & tips are donated, attractions for the kids (this is a family event)...etc all donated for the cause.
 
I'm in for one (1) as Joan will be out in Seattle visiting Ryan & Michelle. Wow, this is Sunday before Louisville, what a busy April. Cya soon!

Slight update. I will be working the morning of this event until 1pm. Gotta make the money while it's available. That said, the office is down the block and will be on site asap.
