There was an organization around here recently that was doing just ^^^^ that for a fund raiser. Can't remember exactly what the "cause" was .... but a group of kids from a youth organization was selling "Flamingo Insurance". The premise was that whoever made a donation was insured against a flock of pink flamingoes showing up on their lawn. Neighbors and friends could recommend someone for a "flocking". It was pretty funny .... folks coughed up the insurance money pretty quickly to get rid of the plastic birds or to prevent a flocking in the middle of the night. :D
 
Yes they koocked on my door one day and asked for money and I said for what? They told me and I said this in not Florida.
The rest as they say is history............................
