The madness continues!!!!!!

Y'all need to send parts!!!! Roger and I have both been snapping our fingers but the parts do not magically appear!

At this point all thats needed is a aftermarket fan controller, which i will have this week, then its dyno time!

Kind of a distraction from all the pressure of getting this done for all the guys. But, I wanted to ask if you ended up doing a Methanol kit from Julio? I have always used his products for my Turbo Buicks and have never had a problem.

BTW, I hope you bought some drag radials of some sort for this car :)

Yes i will be ordering one of his kits, im having a custom SS meth tank fabbed, also the car should be on the Dyno tommorow barring any setbacks. in the meantime i have a half tank of C16 116 octane for a safe dyno tune!

No comment since I have my own car to worry about.

Wondering which one will be done for mv12 :dunno:

That is the plan! I am hopeful that all the setbacks have been chased down and sent packin'!

This is awesome news! I know we've all been waiting a long time to see the numbers. Can't wait to see what she pulls! Good luck tomorrow man.

Also, please don't think about selling until after Louisville 2014. Need to have you take my wife for a ride like doom did last year to help convince her I need boost.

Well we made a few pulls tonight and ran into massive belt slip! lol the motor is a beast but due to the belt slip issue we couldnt get anymore than 9lbs of boost.

The car could only make 450rwhp @ 9psi @5k rpm and after that all you could see was a black cloud of belt dust! lol

i will be the first to admit Jeff told me to go with a 3 blot tensioner/timing cover, i stuck with the single bolt tensioner (timing cover), and well i hate to say he told me so.......but he did!

The power is clearly there to hit and pass 700rwhp once the belt slip issue is addressed, which by going to the three bolt timing cover it will give me 100% belt wrap around the crank pulley (balancer) and eliminate the belt slip, on the single bolt timing cover only half of the actual balancer makes contact with the belt, which is my issue for now.

I was happy to see it made far more torque than hp, somewhere in the 500 range i think, i was distracted thinking of the parts i need to fix this isssue, oh well the madness continues!

Funny thing is like Jeff said that blower hadnt even started to work yet!

Your car was still at the point on the curve where the blower was eating more power than it was sh^^tting out. The good news it is a simple problem to solve and the car can be made to put down some serious numbers.

Oh, and the car sounds downright nasty when it is spun up!
