The thrill is gone.

HAD yellow valve covers!
Got the Marauder out of hibernation for the first drive since Oct.

I admit, I didn't get the thrill I used to get when driving her.

This just reinforces that it is time to sell her to someone else who will enjoy her like I did for many years.

Hopefully someone at the KY meet will make me an offer.

Many great memories with this Marauder and she is my Mona Lisa. I know I'll never again have a vehicle as perfect, clean, loaded, and detailed like this but it is time to move on.

I'm the same way. Blue may come out and the original black will probably stay on the lift yet another year.
I need to sell them.

I can still say that I get the thrill when I drive her. But I do see what you are saying. When it is gone it is hard to get back.

You can always sell the Marauder, buy a Police Interceptor for $3,000, and have the same car for a fraction of the price or hype.

Seems like everyone who wants to buy a Marauder is broke. I've gotten more than a few people ask me if I take payments :shake:

I drove a 2003. It's a nice car with leather, but it's the same thing with 16 extra valves and slightly louder mufflers, a Grand Marquis front clip, Crown Victoria rear, and an exorbitant price tag for a 12 year old car. No offense to the Marauder fans, I just don't understand all of the hype. I very much like my Panther, but they are apples to apples. Same platform, drive train, etc. etc. etc....endless similarities, because they are the same car, all in all.

16 valves, 24 valves, or 32 valves, a 4.6 still has 281 cubic inches of displacement. Anybody can throw a turbo or super charger on any 4.6 just the same.

I feel you on this thread , im really ready to sell my car , and move on as well.
