Trilogy 212

Hey all, just had Trilogy #212 installed Feb 2010... (bought the car used with 15k miles last fall)... 2004 year, #371 of Build, 133 S.B..

I am not technically savvy at all, I am just an end user who has had the fever for this car for a while and decided to pull the trigger on this.

Thanks to Jerry and Andrew Barnes at Trilogy, these awesome guys went out of their way to help me in my search for the car even before I committed to buy the SC from them, that says all you need to know about Jerry and Andrew.

They also intoduced me to Chuck Mikulski who made himself available to me anytime I needed to call him also, thanks Chuck.

My Massachusetts connection was Jim Taylor (wb1gdp on site) who also gave me awesome advice on the S.C. and mods to fit what I needed.

In the end, I put on the Trilogy, CHE Watts and C.A. (thanks Tommy at Sparta), and Addco front and rear sways. This will be how I roll for a while as I do not race, just the knowledge of what is under me is enough.

The install was done by Tasca Ford Mod Shop in Cranston R.I, awesome job done and would recomend them to anyone, shout out to Dennis Gomes there, give him a call, he will hook you up.......

I have contacted a bunch of you here for questions about certain parts and random questions, always had great responses and willingness to help, thanks to all as well .

Here are some pics, take care all......

:welcome: to the world of boost!!!

:congrats: on the newfound power!!! :burn:

Now go out and bust some hemis! :shot:

:banana2: Just make sure the front wheels & car are pointing straight when you hammer it from a dead stop !

Damn............ your rear tire still have tread.

Welcome fellow Trilogy owner...... boost is your friend.:burnout:

Your gonna love that new power...really changes the car with the go pedal down and drives like a limo when your layin low
:2thumbs:

Thanks all, think for now get some colex caps and SRP door sills and drive through summer as is, performance adds will have to wait a while, contemplated CAI, TCE brakes and possibly headers, but I am really not planning to run the car consistently hard (we shall see how that actually plays out though). Just looking for next bang for buck......

I still shed tears at the site of a new trilogy marauder. It's just beautiful.:bigcry:

Thats awesome. Love the Trilogy and the pinstripe.

What is that little light right above the traction control switch to the right of the drivers side vent?

In the picture it looks like the power cable to the alternator is routed a little close to the belt maybe? But it's probably fine like that.
Anyway nice car! And I see you got the Audiophile stereo also.

hey guspech and all,,, appreciate all the wishes, very cool....

that is a great call, picked up on that light quick, so gotta give the rest of the story in case I ever sell this car.. Listen to this and let me know all if there is any concern I should be on the lookout for.

1. Started looking around May of last year, wanted low miles, all I saw were too much $ and more beat than I wanted (keep in mind wanted a SC in the end, either in it or would install).

2. Search was ending around Sept (only looking at autotrader cars because was just learning of this site around the time I went to see this car)... so I gave this autotrader listing a shot and went to go see this car because it was going for a song and the guy selling it seemed genuine (he was as it turns out). The car was in an accident and had a New Jersey Salvage Title,,,,,, came upon this post after I bought it, like I said wasn't too up on the site yet..... but seller had posted it out here too....

3. Things went quick when I saw it, yes, the mm.net and autotrader posting were spot on, car was as clean as a whistle, repaired perfectly, consulted and sent pics to Chuck Mikulski and Jerry and Andrew Barnes, they said go for it for that price... I bought it for 12 grand, had it checked out by 2 local Ford dealers, checked out great by mechanics and body guys. Local dealer did wheel (looks new), and Tasca painted the rear bumper to get the black emboss and did have some scrapes... That was all I had to do after I bought it...

4. Car cleared for Trilogy SC around end of year (NO WAY I POP THAT CASH DOWN IF ANYONE SAW ANYTHING WRONG WITH IT)... Order from Jerry around X-mas, installed and here I am....... Psyched with the result after tons of calls and assists from the pro's.......

oh, man, your question, almost forgot,,,, only speculation it is aftermarket anto-theft, no one really had concerns about it so I let it be, only thing is it blinks red constantly, will address someday.....

Sorry for the story, but thought it need be told...... take care all...

thanks 252, I gave a quick check, clearance is like almost 2 inches, prob. try to tie back a little to be safe....

That stereo is an upgrade from the original if you haven't found that out yet from this site. Many members are now using it, it comes from an 06 Ford Escape and is a direct fit. So no worries of cut wires or anything. I have one myself. If you have a rear six disc changer, you will note that it no longer works. This is normal and should be this way. You have a nice looking low mileage car, you should be proud of it! The only foreseen problem I see is when you go to sell, that "Salvage title" scares the crap out of some people, sometimes for good reason's, usually things are just fine though.

Edit: I was figuring that to be a Audiophile radio or a 300. What does it say on the front?
