trilogy style body kit who would want it?

so i talked to my friend miguel and he said that he started in makeing a mold so far for the front facial ans when thats complete and looking just like to trilogy 1 we`ll test fit it on my cusins 04 mercury grand marquis and take some pics of it! as miguel was telling me that alot of fiberglass body kit are very thin and break easy he`s planing on reinforcing points of the kit with kevlar and some aluminum to give it strangth and at high speeds wont flop in the wind!after the front is done then he`ll focus on the rear bumper facial. when the car is all done he`ll have a complete mold for all sides and then can figure cost to make complete kit or just parts of it? now remember these will shorten the front and rear bumper alot but they will lokk so sweet when finished. Just to add 1 more point when he makes to rear facial he plans to mold the wording MARAUDER in the rear bumper for my kit but that will be opional when the mold is finish

Bro I know I brought this issue alive again after two years but did your frind finish the moulds:D
Also discuss with him the manufacturing of the OEM rear bumper in plastic cz it will fly specially with my neighbours in KSA cz they r addicted to transfer any panther into a Marauder.

Mercuryed has since left the site, last time this was brought up I believe the owner of Trilogy Motorsports was selling the molds for 20K....

I looked into it also.

You would probably have to sell the kit for close to 10K (not painted) for any type of return. I highly doubt anyone will spend that much coin on a 10+ year old car.

I was under the impression the OEM bumper covers are no longer available.
I also heard a good used bumper cover is also hard to find. With all the Panther cars on the road in need of replacement not to mention owners wanting to customize I would think there would be enough demand to warrant production. The question is affordable price point ?

My reservations with the kit was the front bumper cover. You have to remove the actual bumper underneath and replace with something a lot less safe. i just didn't want to take the risk of selling the covers to someone and then them getting in an accident and you know the rest.

It could be very profitable at the 2K cost. Find a company to do the mold inject isnt that difficult. Selling them unpainted is another issue. Most buyers want a plug and play from and OEM exchange. With factory bumper removal and bracket fab, seems unlikely to the average Joe.
