Was this an email back fourth, based on feedback / data - or just sent the handheld?
I ask because the growing 'remote' tunes via email is exceptional customer service. And a great option for many that can't travel to their desired tuner.
Especially, because the tunes work!
Congrats

Ehhh, Marty is ok...HAHAHA JUST KIDDING. i love his Tune as well have it my Marauder. Great guy to talk to always gets back to his customers quickly

Excellent!

I won't even say how many tweaks we did by email - then youze guyze will expect it to be parts of da deal, ya kno?

Looks like i will be next in line for Marty's services!

Got the new MM on the road yesterday and can't believe the difference a tune makes. My blues previous owner had a SCT X3 power flash with a Zack {i believe}tune. Always has performed great, i have never touched it.

Hard to believe the terrible shift points ford put out there off the lot! Going 35 or 40 MPH it is at about 1000 RPM. Idle is less than 500 RPM, doesn't really have any/much creep, lol. If there is anyone out there that figures you dont need a tune, lol, yer wrong!

So here are a couple basic questions,

1) The tune i have on my blue cant be used again, correct?

2} I just buy a tune and deliver it with the my handheld SCT X3?, correct?

Thanks for any replies!

CORRECT. It is married to that car.

you can do that, but only into the car the tuner is being used with already.

Thanks for any replies!

that handheld you have is married to your other car - you can't swap them back and fourth.
you must buy a new hand held, with tunes already loaded, from Marty.
One and done.
good luck!

^^^+1 Kernie, I recommend doing what I recently did. It was painless and fun. Contact Marty at Mo's and he will walk you through your cars specific requirements, your personal taste (for example I told him I like neck snapping 1-2 shifts) and answer your questions. Then he will load a hand held tuner with what you need, down in his little shop in Georgia, and ship it right to your door. Hook it up to the car and the tuner program walks you through the simple steps to load your new tune....and Bob's your uncle! Instant gratification!

Yes that makes sense, otherwise SCT wouldn't sell many units, lol, thanks.

That sounds like a good plan, i will get a hold of him next week. Getting the car safetied Monday, it has a temporary 10 day plate on it now. Thanks.

I have a SCT2 with a DR tune on it for 355's I thought there was a 410 tune on there as well, But when in finally got around to installing the 410 gears I couldn't find the tune for them.. So Ive been running with my speed o off, I cant find the right cord to hook up to a home computer to install a new tune on the handheld plus I don't have a PC just a I pad,, So I guess my best option would be to send my tuner to Marty and have him install his 410 tune on it and send it back,, Right?

Contact Marty.
I believe it might be as easy as sending him your tuner for some fresh tunes, yes.
You might want to upgrade to the X4 with some new tunes from Marty.
Contact him directly with your desires as Ms. Denmark suggested.

Hang on Marty - were flooding you with referrals! :D

Although it would save you some money to do it with email, we can do it through snail mail as well as long as you send me your tuner. The downside is the shipping. But that's not terrible either.

Let me know when you're ready to get the tune straightened out and I will be happy to help.

No my X3 belongs to the blue i have had for 5 years.

Looks like i will need the whole package quite soon, i will be in contact soon.

I gotta say this new ride does not measure up at all with my blue in the performance category. The drivetrain is solid so i know the tune will go along way. My blue has a CAI where my black is 100% factory so i might upgrade here as well.

And i hate these friggin g-force tires! The fronts are near new and the back passenger is over 50% while the back drivers rear is into the wear bars near the center and likely won't pass safety monday. I just hate how they feel, my blue came with nitto 420's onto the rear which i love and still have, and g-force on the front which i didn't like and wore funky.I replaced with them with nitto motivos which felt so much better. I think i'm just going to throw 420's on the rear and forget about it. Ok, g-force rant over.

Anyone have any tips on how to convince your wife to store 2 cars and have 2 true winterbeaters?

;)
