Vegas!!!

There are a few marauders in vegas, ill subscribe to this thread and if the dates work out, i can lead a couple of group cruises. To Lake Mead, Red Rock, The Valley of Fire.

We had one a few years back that turned out pretty well, I am down for the drive as long as it is toward the end of April and on to spring time. We got hit with a bad snow storm last time we did it in March on the drive back to Utah. Not an experience I want to ever do again.....

Agreed, and I like the idea of the cruises to lake mead etc...

So MId April ????

Good inexpensive hotl ideas???

Hooters????just kidding.

Ideas????

rent a house and everyone chips in. should come out cheaper than a hotel with the right amount of people.

We host events here quite a bit. After wasting a lot of money at strip hotels our next event is going to be at the Plaza Downtown. It was just gutted and refurbished and opened back up about a year ago.

Rooms are usually $30-45 or if you want nicer rooms you can go across the street to the Nugget and get a two story suite for about $150.

The Plaza has something for everybody from a good $60 steak all the way down to McDonalds right in the building and everything in between.

If you want to drive you're right at the intersection of all the interstates and you're right at the North end of the Strip.

If you want to drink you're right at the end of the Fremont street experience where you can walk around and drink to your heart's content, then stumble back to your room.

They have an upper parking deck that is usually closed off where you could get some pretty good pictures of cars too.

We're done with events where the coffee is $100 a gallon and internet service is $2k. The downtown Casinos offer a bargain these days.

Whether you want an event with a convention style room, or just a cool place to get together and meet downtown is where it's at.

No, I don't work for the Plaza, I just live here and have to host an event or two every year and have learned some lessons.

:banana::banana:Sounds great. My only real requirement is that the cars are safe... while I am too pie eyed to watch over them!

Downtown on the roof is about as safe as you can get. Most cars stolen here are ricers. My sons drag Honda Del Sol was Stolen from the Venetian parking garage and found fully stripped in North Las Vegas 6 hrs later.
