Dude, if we have a weiner of the month contest, lol.

I admit, I voted for 2,4 sho. No offense to anyone, but that car looks bad-ass and that's why I voted for it. I don't care if it jumps railroad tracks or climbed Pikes Peak or never leaves the garage, it looks awesome.
 
When I first saw this thread, I thought, well this is cool. Now, that I see all the comments, I thought, what a cluster****. A great idea that has run amok! Sorry Bluerauder, that your initiative has been met with such griping, and negativity.

We all are a competitive bunch, and proud of our cars. Members ideas of what is "best", is subjective, show cars, daily drivers, low mileage, high mileage, stock or modified, they are all Marauders.

With the large number of members who may want to participate, may I suggest an alternative, "Featured Marauder of the Week" Members would PM their two photos and descriptions. Based upon the submission's date and time, the Marauder would be posted for the week, and then on to the next one, the next week.

No voting, just a nice friendly thread of some of the "best".

Maybe we should come up with ways to improve it instead of whining.

My contributions...how about
1)
Categories for different months.
Regions:Each month is a different region..i.e. March only can be submitted by people in East coast.. Next month, southeast, next month midwest marauders..etc. This way everyone gets a chance to submit and compete for their region.
Mileage: Low mileage MMs...200k+ only, etc
Non-OEM wheel,
all factory stock,
daily/garage queen
etc..

Interesting car/photo combination. A cell phone like picture of the work-horse MM covered in daily driver salt may not be the most appealing to submit, but submit whatever you want. Something with artistic blend would make for nice homepage eyecandy..

Anyone else any ideas?

If you don't want to be critiqued then don't participate. I love my car and thats all that matters. I could give the slightest S**T if someone else doesn't like it. If you cry and complain that you don't like the competition then again stay out. Also just cause you may be a car "Enthusiast" doesn't mean you drive your car everyday or let it sit in your garage. You do with your car what you please......common sense.

I think for the next winner when the members vote should only been seen by the members with the power to edit and moderator the web-site . Than after the new winner's car is posted should have how the brake down of votes were . Keeps it to the end so we don't know who won untill the next time we log in .

Just my 2 cents
