Weather for MVIII

So far, 50% or less chance of rain. I'll take those odds. Fact is, they really do not know what it will do!

If I was as wrong on my job as the weather man is, I would have been fired along time ago!

Here's something that might have inadvertantly got over looked, the WEATHER

Here's the 10 day forecast according to The Weather Channel. And it looks somewhat good.

Trust me, It wasnt overlooked! We have been checking it every day for a week now. Truth is, tonight I checked 3 local news websites, the weather channel, and the national weather service. Each one said something different, 2 didnt show any rain at all on thursday! We will be keeping an eye on the weather.

Weather

No toes being stepped on. Haven't ever seen any weather predictions lately that make me decide what to do. Like today, predicted rain-got none!

Yep, we've given the weather A LOT of thought. But, as it is something beyond our control, there is little than can be done about it.

But here's what we've considered:

Wednesday: Dyno day is on, rain or shine. As is dinner at Capers.
Thurdays: Greenfiled Village, Rouge Tour is on rain or shine.
Friday: Only a complete wash out will stop racing. If that happens everyone can hit the mall, the movies, Alternative Auto, or Trilogy, etc.
Saturday: The Cruise happens rain or shine. Tents wil cover us from light rain if need be. The BK building is there for heavier rains.
Sunday: Breakfast happens rain or shine.

All that said, the weather looks promising thus far!! Accuweather has us clear every day except Friday that shows a "chance" of passing T-Storm. I don't see any days that look like a washout and Saturday is looking clear and sunny!

Ain't that the truth. 50% chance of rain means .... It might rain .... It might not !! Either way -- I figure that I won't melt. and I am planning on a great time just hanging out with all the folks at MV III.

But, I am glad that "Irene" decided to hook a right and stay off the coast. For awhile last week it looked like it might hit Hatteras and head on up the Chesapeake Bay  (right about the time I plan to leave for MV III).

They put a "Cloud" "Rain" and "Sun" in the same forcast! BLAH!

Gotta hand it to MCM  . There is plenty to do regardless of the weather.

Hmmmm...the Accuweather site just removed the rain from friday's and saturday's forecast. The only precip indicated is a chance on Thurs late PM.

No one agrees! Go figure:D

And if they predicted hurricanes the Dream Cruise would still go on and I'd just have to stake the canopy down.
