What did you do to your car today?

I'm also hating how my fog lamps only come on w the parking lamps now. I love being distinguished from a cv or gm. I will be probing for that issue myself one day.

Parking lamps ALWAYS come on with the fog lamps.

Cool. Dynomating the interior too?

I wish, but with the amount of money I have spent on this car in the last two years, I have to get back to some kind of a budget. I don't even know where to start adding up??? It's been a fun ride, but this habit has to has some limits. Besides, the quicker I get this car to a degree I can live with for a while, I can get the storage lift and my 29-31 Ford Tudor bought and start hacking away.

Update. New trans tunnel going in now.

Sigh..... well doom & others, u were right. It pissed me off to see it wasn't the motor( i tried pulling the hamster wheel off too like a real simpleton). Yes, u warned me but i am definitely stuck in my ways. BCM will be on order as of tmrw morning. Should be a breeze thanks to the informative DIY section. I just had to laugh at myself for attempting that(lmao).

Replaced the serpentine belt due to it squealing loudly when its cold  & a little less when the engine is warmed up. It would quiet down completely only when I sprayed belt dressing on the old belt, but that would only last for a few seconds :shake: . I replaced it with a Gates micro-v belt part # K060926 & now there is no more squeaky hamster wheel noise from under the hood when the engine is running. :banana2:

All you need to do is ask. Collectively we've encountered most problems you'll encounter!

Sorry Buddy! Yeah, I'll start a thread when the dust settles LOL.

Slow day. Welded in the tunnel top, spot welded the bottom (lap joints), knocked the welds down some and cleaned it up for seam sealer in and out and paint. Trial fitment of trans/crossmember/shifter is a go.

Brandon (lowbuckMM) came over last night to disconnect all the lower messy stuff on the engine, I took care of the topside clean work 😊 and yanked out the block today as well. Heads go to the machine shop tomorrow or Tuesday for a valve grind, cams, and all Manley valves, springs, and other goodies.

@ fastblacmerc: thanks, i will definitely ask more questions in the future. By the way, do you know the EXACT specs for the camber/ toes? I have a 3 year alignment package but, i hate waiting all day at ntb. I go at least once every 4 months to be safe. I spent $1000 on tires alone in August '12.

Search for "carfixers" specs. They are different from the factory / published specs but are proven to work.

Organize all of the receipts for parts & repairs of my MM since day 1 of ownership in a compact expandable file that would be kept in the glove box.
