What did you do to your car today?

Much needed wash

Gave it some much needed exercise over the Memorial Day weekend. Cleaned, waxed and detailed the car over 3 days. Just finished up the engine compartment. Put the Carlisle sticker on the windshield and the Carlisle letter over the visor. Now she's back under cover and ready for Carlisle All Fords in 2 weeks. About 1 hour of prep before the show and it'll be ready !! :D
 
I installed a new steering wheel today. It was from a town car with the factory wood.. I just had to color match the rest as it was a brown steering wheel.

I know a lot of guys won't like it, but I really like it and I find it much more comfortable to use :)

I know what it is like to have or not have the steering wheel you like. Seems silly, but to me it is important. it looks great!

Staying in the garage today...Cleaning the interior and running wires for gauges. Not gonna tear it up too much in both senses. Last day of the month, they're watching.

Looks nice!
If the leather on your OEM wheel was worn - this looks better and if the OEM leather is good - then you preserve it while you use this one!

Looks great!

I have really been on the fence so long about doing this. I love a good woody in my cars.

The only thing holding me back is detracting from the "sportiness" of the Marauder.
 
Installed Zack & Mac rear control arms, severe duty Monroe shocks and Addco sway bar. Changed the car handling entirely!



Installed my texture powder coated dead pedal:


Also flashed in a tweaked Mo's tune with extended shift points = woohoo!
And finally a bath and road test:

New bigger better intercooler

Installed a much larger intercooler than the old IceVex.

Old intercooler for sale $50 bucks.

My original leather was not great so I bought a very nice used one last year...then got onto a wood wheel kick, and had to have one :D

I think the wood has a sporty retro look to it IMHO.
