What did you do to your car today?

Drove mine today, just like yesterday, and everyday after I got it. It's a great daily driver, but I need to park it soon.

Two weekends ago I rebuilt the cooling system in the 1998 Ranger. New radiator, radiator cap, upper & lower radiator hoses, both heater hoses, flush and refill with fresh coolant.

I didn't replace the water pump or thermostat since they were done a year ago when I replaced the timing chain & gears.

Running much cooler now.

Uncovered, jump started it (been sitting since june), let him warm up, quick waxed hood and trunk, washed windows and took to get smogged.

Passed WHOOT WHOOT!

Drove home put back under cover.

What a ride though!

Installed my SS brake lines yesterday. Should have done it years ago when I added the BAER brake kit. I will put baby away now for the long winter sleep.

In late March, or early April, I'll wake her with a kiss..... well.... maybe not.

Got pulled over, again. Twice in 1 week now.

Both times were warnings, thankfully. First time, I was driving FAST. Second time, today, I was going FAST, again! He said He was doing 70mph and I was still gaining on Him. It was on a city street, speed limit was a posted 45mph. Nobody on the road tho which I made sure b4 I floored it. Probably followed Me for about 3 miles till I reached My destination. He ran My license, said slow down n have a nice day.

Maybe he shouldn't have been doing 70 himself? Just a thought.. [emoji6]

Fixed odd electrical issue without knowing what actually fixed it. Replaced faulty intercooler pump, changed out headlight housings with the 165 dollar ebay units.

Same here a few months ago! Disturbing isn't it?

I bought mine a year and a half old and since day one all the lighting, especially the dash and gauges have danced to the music. The only thing that could have solved it in my case was all the LED lighting I did through out last spring. I just didn't notice till a couple of months ago.

Kinda miss the ambiance. [emoji4]

Many thanks to Turbov6Bryan for working on several issues for me--changed PS fluid, replaced non-lighting door lock switches, freeing up stiff vents, lubing hood latch, looking at compass. Thanks for your help!

I simply changed my address to my brothers place downstate where they don't have testing. Done!

Mine is registered at my sisters where the county she is in doesn't do testing either, but now that I have "collector" plates so I can move it to my place as they are emissions exempt. They are not to be used as daily drivers which you have to prove to get a collector plate anyway by having another vehicle registered to you. I don't drive mine daily anyway so all is good.
