What did you do to your car today?

I just finished the installation of the Zack/Jerry big brake kit, and the LED projector fog lamps I bought from Panther Lights. Feelin' pretty good. Need to work on aiming the fogs a bit, though. The new brakes are bit touchy testing them out on wet roads, though. Will have to go for another ride once it all dries up.

Are you coming to the meet at Tilted Kilt Schaumburg Sunday at 2?

I put the new Mariner radio in! I have a working radio again, ... O and yeah, it has a little black button that allows the internal blue tooth doggle to turn on. Now, I have a stock radio, with blue tooth.

That's smoke tinted Xpel film. They don't seem to make it anymore. I was looking for it for another vehicle a few months back and didn't see it on their site anymore.

The calipers are courtesy of Jerry (lji372). They're engraved Vette calipers with two tone powder coat. I think they were $625 for the pair. Part of the big brake kit.

I have the brackets and lines, asked Jerry (lji372) about the calipers after receiving brakets and didn't hear back. I may have messed up the PM, or he wasn't doing more. Was extra broke at the time so put it on the back burner. Relatively soon the kit will get done with plain calipers, and I can swap them out later.

Sewing machine

I thought I had the dreaded sewing machine sound but it was only intermittent. Had a mechanic look at it and he thought it felt like the radiator fan was cracked so I ordered an oem radiator fan assembly from Rock Auto for $330.94 including shipping and 5% discount. Turns out it was a crack in the ring around the opening for the blades allowing it to flex and hit the shroud. Installed for $78.37 and all is well.

nothing directly to it but ordered the Kooks Catbacks X-pipe and 18" magnaflows. After almost 13 years the cats, x-pipe and mufflers all went out within the same month. Car sounds fine up to 20 mph, after that, all heck breaks loose
