What is your Top Speed?

On actual pavement I've done 140+ racing a 300 SRT-8, on the dyno my car ran 149 mph with 3.55 gears 3rd gear to about 6100 rpms.

Did you beat the SRT? Ive had mine to 142 and decided that was fast enough for the area I was in. Wasnt even breathing hard at 142. 3.08 gear =200+ top end but the aero stops the 300 at 172. No limiter on the SRT. Even at that speed was as stable as driving 55, only difference you run up on slower traffic pretty quick

I remember reading an article about "Virgil" doing 186 in his modified 2003 Marauder. He qualified his speed with his brother radar gun. Turns out, Virgil ives somewhere down South and has abrother who is a State Trooper.

I will never know if the story was true and don't care. I laugh to this day.

I had someone in a black Marauder in Orange Park, FL tell me he was clocked at 180+. Somehow I managed not to bust out laughing.

On the track I think I have hit 100-120. I did recently ride in a friends car and he hit 170 something, to say the least it was fast enough for me. Though I tend to describe his car more in terms of thrust and G's

148 racing a ZX-6 did not even no I was at that speed till I looked at my gps. It started to vibrate pretty bad at 140 wont do it again I need my license.& a better driveshaft

Had my 2006 ZX10R over 160 but was scared outta my mind to move enough to see the exact speed I maxed out at...I felt like I was gonna get ripped off the bike...Then I started to brake...THE SCARIEST part of going that fast IMHO.

Top speed.. dont know because the needle was stuck in dash. But ran near the rev limiter in the last gear, i tried to engage the OD but i got the feeling it was slipping so i slowed immediately.

170+ in Utah (I-80, between Salt Lake City and Winnemucca), GPS verified. It was weird to feel the car squat as the spoiler in the back actually started doing something.

Although still pulling, I backed down just in case I ran out of talent before I ran out of road.

Oh my god yes. Going 160 or whatever your doing isnt bad slowing down is the scarriest part of it.

Fastest I've had mine on a miles long straight stretch of road was 135 and it was still pulling. (4:10's and basically everything you can do and still call the car N/A.) I rode the center line so I didn't have to worry about the road camber. I don't know if it gets better as you go faster, but it just felt too light in the front end to me. I felt like I had very little control and didn't like that feeling in the wheel.

Our factory spoiler is pretty much useless IMO. I've seen little ricers that come stock with a better setup. The thing should be hugging the street more the faster you go, not floating. I'd be interested if there's anything I can do about that.

But the car loves higher speeds. If I could drive it at 95 MPH all the time my gas mileage would kick a$$.
