He didnt take the tags off himself and he didnt abandon the car. The guy couldnt afford insurance on his car, I doubt he would be able to afford the impound bill after he gets out. I know what you are doing is legal but I still feel sorry for the guy. And im sure if you dont someone else will.

I agree with u

All easy come ups arent good come ups

uhhhhhhhhhh no.
i pay a high premium cuz i have countless speeding tickets.

i never knew that ppl driving with no insurance was why my premium was so high.. i learned something new today. :)

Yeah, there's an uninsured motorist premium that's part of the typical insurance premium. For some states, the $ amount can be pretty steep. :(

As for premium surcharges for tickets, accidents, etc, that's true, too; but the nice thing about that is the longer you can go in the future without tickets or accidents, the lower the surcharges go. Also, some insurance companies (Allstate and Nationwide come to mind) offer incentives (i.e. "vanishing deductables") to their insured drivers that drive safely.

Do I really need to explain this? Think of how many un-insured and under insured idiots get into accidents every single day causing the insurance companies to pay out for the customers that got hit. Who do you think pays for that? How about this other example, even IF he was paying for his insurance, he would be denied anyways for driving without a license or revoked license! Deadbeats like him are a MAJOR reason why insurance is high.
Your tickets contributing to your higher than normal high insurance rate is over and beyond obvious in your case.

Does anyone think another towing company would do it any differently???

When I used to frequent the auctions, I saw cars all the time that were there because they were repossessed or had mechanics, tow/storage liens on them... Don't remember a single case of the auctioneer or buyers whining about selling/buying them because of someones hard luck...

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? what are the odds of that! damn. Absolutely lucky. Wish there were people stupid enough here to get arrested and have their marauder impounded :P wow. Free marauder.

That Car Looks Great... All She Needs Is A Detail and Clean the Engine Compartment... It Has Me Contemplating.. lol

That's great.!!!! Hope he gets it back also... Stuff happen to everyone in different ways.

Are u going to show him yours and how u did the LED mod????

This prolly the car from Miami that this guy has been trying to sell FOREVER. I spoke to him once about a year ago or so, and he said he was trying to get 9K for it. I wonder if it's the same guy

Was talking to Steve Babcock at MV9 and we broached the subject of the White car. He said it was the most likely next color as each color except Black would have a 6 month or so shelf life. White would have replaced Silver Birch. I asked him about the interior color for the White car and he said they hadn't really got that far but any of the Grand Marquis colors would have been viable. We agreed a saddle color would have been a good combo with the White.

I will try to answer your questions as if they are not sarcastic.

Quote twice? Honest accident, small phone, big fingers.

No, best i can give you is one in seven drivers do not carry any insurance, directly quoted from the International Resource Council. Accurate? With numbers anywhere even close to those odds, my ears perk up.

I do know a lot. Besides paying for auto insurance on multiple vehicles, some even commercial, I also practice reading and understanding what it is I actually pay for, just like I thought most do.

Ever heard of 25/50/, 100/300, or 300/500? I highly suggest you read and understand what you pay for if you value your well being, loved ones, and/or property.

Were done here.
