Would you sell your Marauder to get a Camaro??

No!

I want to and am determined to drive this car 9 months a year for as long as i live.

Period.

As much as I love my car, I think I love the new Camaro even more! I went and looked at one recently and I fell in love all over again. I sat in it and fired it up, and ohh man! The salesman said he could get me in one with no prob, but I just don't want a more expensive car note right now...so I guess ill roll with what I got..for now.

IF I could grow enough hair to sport a respectable mullet I'd consider...

I had one of each back in highschool.

I wouldnt trade my 6 year old Marauder for a brand new Camaro today. A Plum Crazy Challenger Classic R/T with a 6 speed and stripe delete, sure, but not for the Camaro. (Yeah, I know you cant get a Plum Crazy Challenger R/T with a 6 speed... :( )

no way!! i can honestly say ive always wanted a marauder when i seen one in 03. but cant say i ever really cared aboutn camaros. it kinda kills the cool factor of a car when u see one every 10 seconds while driving. for a buick regal GNX i would in a heart beat though

No way!!!! My 7 year old Marauder still turns heads...I don't see any Camaro doin' that! Would you even bother finding out what number sequence your car is?:shake: Didn't think so!

Um, I bothered when I had my 02 Z28 convertible...I figured since it was the last year and some rare options I'd wanna know where it stood in terms of production. The closest I got was 1 of about 2100ish. Now, had it been an SS I would've known the EXACT numbers since those were farmed out to SLP. I'm with guspech750 though, those are the rarest of the rare, only 69 ZL-1s were made. Not sure how many LT-4s but it's not like there aren't 15 Marauders for sale at any given time :dunno:

There were 106 LT-4's built. I think 6 went to Canada and 1 to the Middle East. There was also the Project Pumpkin SS with a 383 LT-1 too. Check it out up close. http://inventory.bestofshowautomotive.com/CarDetails_sold_post2010.asp?VIN=131939

Gosh I miss my 97 Camaro SS:( Good times and some darn nice trophies from the Chevyvette Fest.

Comparing apples to oranges. I bought the MM because I wanted a full sized 4 door rear wheel drive V8. I also have a 91 Z28. Would I trade that for a new one? Not likely. Trade it for a Mustang, probably not..but...a Challenger SRT Super Bee...for the "Right Price"!!!
No...not in my future. I have said it before I might get another car (Mustang), but I am keeping the MM. I have had this one car longer than any other car in my life and it never gets old. Its rare and people always comment on it.
Not saying anything bad, just curious that you are 59 and have had only 1 car for 6 years. I had a 56 Ford PU for 16 1/2 years, a 71 Nova for 12 (traded in for Z) 91 Z28 for 18 1/2 years (and still counting) and the MM for 7 (and still counting).
