As Zack stated your car your passengers, you are dining this at your own risk.
You are messing with the most important safety feature of your car. If you are even a little hesitant at your abilities please do not do this project.

Stock is on the floor, bolts and washers have been ordered. These should be all done and ready for shipping on Friday at the latest (I'm really shooting for Tuesday, Wednesday but things never go as planned)

Drove it around a bit. Stops good.
However, I really think my car needs an IDS bleed
There is too much mush in the pedal IMHO

Will get that done as soon as time allows

Drive another 15 miles. It's starting to stop REALLY well
I don't even have 100% pad contact yet.
Win

OK so BigM460 runs stock caliper but 20" wheels. Zack's set-up keeps stock wheels.GT500 rears are only around .200 bigger to much work for to little. Zack's set-up looks like a win to me!

Things to know:
You will need to grind down the aluminum so the bracket sits correctly and the bolts thread in. Pretty self explanatory.... When you can thread the bolts in, you have ground down enough.

Also, look closely to the pic. You will need to grind a small relief where I did so the abutment bracket sits perfectly.
(My holes were enlarged for the cobra brakes on the car before this. Yours will not look this way)

Another pic of grinding:

The factory dust shield will also need to be removed for this.

Why? you'll have better cooling without the shield. Unless you go off-roading frequently with your Marauder don't worry about it.

Great can't wait to hear if the bleed is the fix! My o.c.d makes me think it should be there but no biggie if I need to lose it.

I'm not fully getting where it needs to be grinded, I get the part about notching the ear to allow room for the bracket, but can you be more specific about the first part?

Watching this thread closely. I started planning this about a year ago as one of my friends imported a bunch of billet brake calipers from Australia and was doing conversions on to Nissan 240sx and also installing LS2 engines in them. He later used Nissan 370 brakes. He did all the machining. He offered to make the adapters for my car. I was looking at these Mercedes 4 piston calipers that only cost $61.75.

The next step I was going to take was to get my hands on a extra spindle that we could do the mock up on.

I will wait and see how this turns out.

I assume 14" is the biggest we can go in rotor size?

Does anyone have a spindle they want to sell?

Dumb question. Why can't your bracket be modified instead of grinding material off our cars? What if someone decides to put their old calipers back on?

The Baer kit requires the exact same grinding. And yes, you can re-install your stock calipers if you so choose.

I'm still at work, going on 19 hours now. I managed to get out to do the IDS brake bleed

Good and bad news. My pedal is now low and all the symptoms of a bad master cylinder are present.
However, if while coming to a stop I lightly pump the brakes a few times, the car nose dives to a stop.

The brakes work, well.
Modify with confidence!

Is this on black or blue? Just curious.

On the blue.
While driving home, I had to do a panic stop.
The brakes bit down HARD and activated the abs solenoids.
It stops great!
