...I looked at 25 threads the other night. Found nearly 300 pics of cars...and only 4 pictures that just so happened to have the name of my shop in it....and one with my Truck which has my logo on it in the background. I guess it's not the "one pic in every thread" that I've been accused of. But I'd have been happy to comply. Instead...folks can read for themselves what was sent to me.

Y'all are pathetic! I can't believe this charade continues when folks have had everything laid out for them to read for themselves.

Absolutely...I've known Todd for a couple of years now, and one thing I can definitively say about him is that he is an honorable person. There is no doubt in my mind that if given the opportunity to simply comply with not showing pics with GM on them, then he would have gladly complied. And then, on this site, we could have continued to enjoy the immensely popular thread OTR. Todd, best to you whatever your final play in this is. Hope to see you before long in the ATL. I know I'll continue to enjoy your thread elsewhere, whatever happens.

Blast it all TAF...I wanted to be post #300...JK...just for the sake of not argueing whether or not TAf was advertising or not I will not discuss or make a comment but one thing I do know...EVERONE this site knows the name of his shop now...kinda ironic don't you think...I guess I am stirring the pot...just couldn't help myself...willie

BTW, I was out of town this week until this morning. And...I have never seen a thread that generated 8,600 views and 300+ postings in this short a time. Take a look at the MV threads/hits. Unbelieveable...I guess people are really interested about this topic...

In the not so distant future, if I start a new thread called "On The Table" & have pics of my upcoming surgery taken ...

Will I need to blur out anything that clearly shows the Dr's or hopsitals name(s) on it ?.

Additionally, William Shatner aka ...

Capt Kirk
TJ Hooker
And my personal favorite character - Denny Crane, the mad cow disease suffering attorney of the law firm Crane Poole & Schmidt .....

Got $75,000 for a kideny stone he passed not that long ago.

How much you think I can I get for a fistula & a chunk of some intestine ?.

Lastly ...

Anybody got a good line on one of these ?.

A lot more thought in something like that vs cards & balloons.

Tutor Turtle - a little guy who always thought it would be great if he could be someone else - until he found out it really wasn't what he thought at all. "Drizzle Drazzle Drazzle Drone, time for this one to come home."
Of course Mr. Wizzard's accent was so heavy he could have been saying anything!

We were both wrong :o It's Tooter Turtle. Check this link (a great site) http://www.toonopedia.com/tooter-t.htm

Sorry all, but I'd rather do this than be a part of what is happening in this thread. :depress:

Thanks for finding that link. Can't believe that segment ran only 2 years from 1960-1962. Must have been buried pretty deep in my subconscious .....

Either way, there seems to be alot of relevance to this thread .... ;)

".... Tooter would find out it it wasn't so much fun after all — in fact, it would usually turn out downright painful. When he'd had enough, he'd cry out for Mr. Wizard to rescue him; and with the words "Drizzle, Drazzle, Drozzle, Drome, Time for this one to come home", Wizard would immediately do so. He also, in his German accent, dispensed the advice, "Be what you is and not what you is not! Folks that is what they is, is the happiest lot!" Tooter always promised to show better judgment in the future, but he never did. "

Have we learned anything yet?? :dunno:

I think you do have something there on the subconscious part - I hope you are right about learning something....

Thank you all for postng on this thread. Your opinions have been noted. We understand that many are upset over the change, but what we did was business, not personal, our vendors are as important to us as the members are. They vendors help keep the site up and running with their fees as well as the generous contributions from our members. We need both to keep the lights on here at MM.net. Unfortunately we have had to make a tough business decision to keep our rules in force. was it necessary? Yes,,was it popular?? no. Todd is welcome here as always, the door remains open for him.

This thread has served its purpose and it is time to move on.

Thank you
