  • Sir,
I just wanted to say thanks for the installation details you provided here, I used them to install the GT pump on my car. You seem to be a mountain of knowledge on this subject, so I was wondering what you think about my current dilemma. I am a couple of weeks away from installing a 5.3 stroker in my Marauder. I have the 2.3 Lysholm twin screw blower and plan to run 13-15 # of boost with hopes of making ~575 rwhp. I currently have 39# injectors and a Kenne Bell Boost a Pump but aside from the pump the rest of the fuel system is stock. I plan to install new rails, fuel line and 60# injectors, but have folks advising that I should also use twin GT pumps. In your opinion, is it likely I will be short on fuel wothout the twin pumps? Thanks in advance on any feedback.

Thanks for the link, I haven't been on much either.
I have a stock Trilogy kit (injectors and 20amp BAP, stock fuel pump. Since installing headers/hi flow cats, I'm running pig rich from 0-5000 rpm (10.1 to 10.4) dangerously lean above 5500rpm (12.1 to 13.7 a/f).

Most folks say the fuel pump and F150 fuel filter refit will solve the problem, but 2DMAX has the exact same set up as mine PLUS the GT40 pump and the F150 filter upgrade. We dynoed together and his a/f ratio was barely better than mine.

Would the 40 amp BAP be a solution? Neither of us have it, and we both ran the BAP at max to see what happened...which was a loss of hp and very slight a/f improvement.

Any thoughts and explanations would be appreciated. I've gotten far too many b/s answers so far.

BTW, I dynoed at 396 rwhp on a Mustnag dynojet, 2DMAX at about 385 despite his full 3" exhaust (and my stock h-pipe/mufflers/pipes!!??)
I was told you did a GT fuel pump thread, but I can't find it. Did you do one? I'm having fuel issues with my Trilogy. Thanks for any info!
