  • Taemain - I think it was an earlyer post you said you installed your long tube headers. After installation you found it way to loud. I too did my install this past weekend. Stainless Works long tubes 2.5" lead pipes to OEM mufflers. Have you done anything to tame the db level ? I was thinking of adding Aero AR-25 resonators 2.5 in/out & aero Tubine 2525 mufflers 2.5 in/out. Any thoughts ?
I had a 20 amp BAP, 1 gt-40 and a stock fuel system. The only difference is I had 60 lb injectors and an upgraded FPDM (bigger heat sink). I dynoed at 480 rw with the stock turbo kit at 9.5 psi.
An eaton would probaly need 15-25% more fuel at those levels because the blower eats up flywheel hp. Scott Beer just put in dual focus pumps and eliminated the BAP to eliminate a little detonation on WOT shifts.
I don't know what the best answer is for the Eatons. I would highly recommend the upgraded FPDM as it will add a safety factor, especially with the larger BAP or dual pumps. I do not know if the 40 amp BAP will help. I would try just putting a single GT-40 in first as it is relatively easy and inexpensive.
