wow, that sucks, but i am glad they are taking care of it for you in a timely manner. this past fall i had $4k worth of hail damage to my car. i was forced to drive a kia optima for a week and a half. i feel your pain. :(

there is a member on cvn that has had a cf ds for probably 3-4 years on his daily driver. he has had no issues that i am aware of. i can see why they would not be recommended though.

right now on cvn there are two 2v na cars that could break into the 12's if they do things right and race in perfect conditions. i wish them luck. it will not be easy though.

personally, if you are a novice... i recommend a random orbital. it is hard to eff up paint with one of those.

i am honestly surprised he lasted that long. i have not heard of a stand alone mercury dealership in years. a lot of years.

weird that some of you are having issues already. mine is still stock and have had no issues. everything still looks good too. these systems are supposed to last a good 10 years.
