no doubt. 200 dollars for the set and thats my cost. i won't reuse them for 2 reasons. peace of mind and my engine builder won't warranty the short block if they reuse them. i called the ford racing tech hotline about part # m-6345-a46 and all they state is that they fit the 4v 4.6 aluminum...

my engine builder ordered main bolts from ARP for my engine. the studs that go into the bottom of the main caps are the correct ones but the side cap bolts are 8mm and are too small. the other option was 9mm bolts but they would be another 7-10 days to get from ARP. soo....i had my parts guy...

i'm a Ford mechanic. I've drained more than my fair share of gas tanks because of bad gas and ALL of them would still fire up, run horribly, stall, buck, miss...etc. in this guys situation he put the car away only a few months ago filled with fresh gas and obviously drove it home from the gas...

if it was bad gas it would still run. It would missfire, buck and run horribly but it should still catch when you turn it over. look for any nests around wire harnesses.

check fuses with a test light. a tiny strand of wire can carry 12 volts but will not be able to support any amperage. a test light will add an additional load and tell you if the fuse is actually good or not. This may not be your issue but its a good habit to get into. you didn't mention...
